Well I finally got my first Z. It has an F54 block with a P90 head. Right now I am working on gettign the motor to run good. Where you you suggest I start? Thanks, Mike

McMaster Carr (http://www.mcmaster.com) can be a great source for fittings of all sorts. The have just about everything.

BTW I highly recomend you get a copy of a read: Chassis Engineering by Herb Adams and Engineer to Win by Carroll Smith (any Carroll Smith books are great) Carrol Smith especially talks about techniques for safely removing weight

I have seen chop tops where they basically sink the windshield into the cowl a few inches. Of course you have to keep the top profile of the windshiled stock. Just an idea.
