  1. I am going to go with... He kicked some serious butt... Congrats SF!!! http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Roll-Racing12-Viper-Turbo_164205.htm
  2. Yea, The original collar is definately Yours Raff... Scotty knows that you get a few for free:). Hopefully Scotty's buddy can duplicate them faster than I could have.
  3. Freaking awesome Paul!!! The base maps aren't all that bad, but good enough to get you to the dyno.
  4. I think you are missing a few things, like installation fabrication and lots of new parts. Have you factored in those parts for the RB? You say everything needed... Most people see that as, it will bolt right in to my car right? I mean unless you are getting a set of rick wong mounts, mickinney mounts and a driveshaft with the engine set. Turboing your L would prove to be less costly and pretty much a bolt in affair. By all means though if you have the funds, do the RB swap!
  5. Freaking awesome StreetFighter!!! When is dyno day again? I cant wait to see you rip up some BB cars!
  6. Scotty, I should be up your way on sunday. Are you doing anything? I want to talk about a few things rb... But your build is coming along nicely, I wish I could say the same about mine!
  7. http://www.z31club.com More Japanese Z31's. I think I could go on and on...
  8. I 2nd that. I replaced me factory oil pressure unit with an autometer sending unit. I have never had any problems with it. I can get a 1/8 bspt to 1/8 npt adapter for you if you would like. They are close to 5 usd each.
  9. I hear that! I am trying to keep my car local until I get the new parts... Maybe I can bring my smokin' slow sonoma?
  10. You should have seen him leaving the meet, big smoky drift. I wish I would have got it on the cam.
  11. whoa! sweet, I was thinking about a knock box, or readout on my dash for it.
  12. Me, zzzz31 and enjoyrth headed out to the WMZ (Western Michigan Z's) meet yesterday. enjoyrth was kind enough to take some video for me! We had some fun, especially on the way home. All of these clips were with stock boost. I only turned up the boost when we ran into a grand prix gtx---> turbo. Once we got room to run, he started to overheat, so we didn't get to run him. Scotty we missed you!
  13. Thats no good Scotty! Did you ever get into contact with the guy from columbus? I may come up there next weekend (harbor Beach). I'll call you this week! Raff, I have more parts for you... On the way!
  14. Me, zzzz31 and enjoyrth headed out to the WMZ meet yesterday. enjoyrth was kind enough to take some video for me! We had some fun, especially on the way home. All of these clips were with stock boost. And some motion pics...
  15. The one that comes with a new sending unit. Dont bs around with something that will be off, most of the time. I did that, and I am regretting it still.
  16. Sweet, As soon as I take my car down this summer for the uprgades I will send it out. I'll give you a call this weekend, ok?
  17. ahhhhh... yea I thought there was going to be an update.
  18. Ummmm, How? Let me know, I am looking into another WBO2 controller, and the LM1/innovative it one of the best. Did you just use the 5v reference output from the lc1, and input into the yellow/black wire(b23)?
  19. As long as you have an external igniter, Series 1 rb25det or whatever, you can change over to a grand national coil pack. I am working on my car to see if my ls1 coils will work with the stock ecu. I will let you know by the end of the week.
  20. Sorry to hear. If I had the extra money, I would be all over it. Good luck with the sale. I wish the best for you and your Z's

    Yay!!!

ok about the map in this zip file. The +5 with notes is the same file as the +5, it just has a few notes about sensors/mods I have on the car. The +5 means that I added 5% more fuel overall to the original base map. The ECT fixed map is the updated map for the correct factory ect sensor. I noticed that it was about 5*C from the IAT after a cold over night soak, so I adjusted it accordingly. The ignition lock timing set map is for setting the base timing and it turns off the injectors so that it does not start. To set the timing you may need two people, one to crank the engine, one to read the timing light and turn the CAS. The Jason ritter IAT map has the GM IAT curve in it and running correctly. I made this just to verify that it was working properly. Finally the stock rb25det map is the base map that was sent in the v500 when I recieved it. Stock RB25DET Map(Racinjitter).zip
  22. I haven't had any problems with my V500. I added a few wires to the existing harness, and timing was set with no problems. I added in the wires for the IAT and for the fan controllers. The base map was uber rich but ran good enough to get to the dyno. I changed out the plugs as soon as the car cooled down while at the dyno, where it is currently. I also have the "plug and play" version for the rb25det. How long ago did you have these issues? Do you have a series 1 or 2? Just wondering. If you still have your base map from the rb25, do you want to sent it to me? Or do you want me to send you my map? For S&G?
  23. If the thread pitch is correct (which I think it is), then any vg33 engine uses those same studs and washers.
  24. WHAT? That is a ton of money. I would recommend going full standalone. Haltech, Wolf, AEM, MSnS, Tec3... Or whatever, they all are priced similar ~1000-2000 USD. MSnS is the least expensive, because you build it. Only the Wolf and AEM are plug and play for RB's to my knowledge.
  25. I am down for a group buy! Let me know when you need the money.... Side note; If you can get some rb25de heads/26 heads in that same container I would buy 2 rb25de heads. Maybe a 26 head if the price is right.
