yes the rear bowl on the carb when i got it was leaking onto the intake manifold,but i rebuilt the carb and all is well now.

the seats say "tuned by Matrix" so i asume that they are matrix seats. on the motor specs, the guy i bought it from didnt tell me,but from what ive found it has roller rockers,screw in studs,guide plates,an edlebrock intake,and a holley 650 carb,all the rest im clueless about.

on the third link i averaged 0.529 out of 10 ,having never raced a day at the track it think that is pretty good. -
i looked after i got home,and it seams the the people before me replaced the filler neck.i say that because there is only one vent connected to the filler neck and no more barbs.should i block the barb off again?or try to route it some where else?

it doesent have a hose,it is just a barb.

i recently bought a project z with a v8.after i fill it up with gas i noticed that the fuel guage went down at a steady rate.i looked under the rear end and noticed a barb that was sticking out of the center seam of the gas tank. it looks like the people before me crimped the barb and tried to seal it with sillicone.i was wondering if it was a vent or what,and what should i do to make it stop leaking. all help is greatly appreciated.

i currently bought a 74 260z that has a v8 conversion and a 350 turbo trans in it.i have several questions about the front end.if you do a v8 conversion does it affect the front end at all?the person that i bought it from says that the ball joints and tie rod ends are bad,would the v8 conversion affect any of these parts?Are there any upgrades that i should do to the front end to make it better?thank you.

i dont know alot about the engines,thats why i was asking for the cause of the problem.now that i get to thinking it may not be an autochoke,it may be an air flow sensor.i dont know.

im looking at a 280z that the body is in great shape. they say the motor runs ,but when put in gear it spits and sputters.the people that they talked to said it was either the injectors or the auto choke.is the injectors, the auto choke,or is it another problem?oh yea, it is a 1975 fuel injected model.
