  1. a guess of 8-10 hours would be in the ballpark, this from steve [mr. photographer].
  2. cool, torvec is less than 5 miles from both my home and office! gonna have to get over there and see what goodies they may have for our z's.
  3. almost forgot to give credit where due-to my friend steve rossini, the photographer! we spoke this morning and he's preparing to leave to cover the annual 1 lap of america. http://www.highlanddesignstudio.com/motorsport/Zcon07/Zcon07-home.html
  4. the photographer at the 07 z convention heard my tires complain as i entered this corner too hot-he quickly turned, pressed the shutter button and didn't release it until i had completed the turn. the pic you see is many images all compiled into one shot to create this sequence. my plan is to have it enlarged and framed then find a cool place to hang it...
  5. this series of pics was taken at the 07 z convention in daytona. the photographer then laid all the images of my z on one shot...
  6. the newest addition to my stable. fairlady z, beltbuckle. note the cool fairlady grill & fennder mirror!!

  10. they are. probably a more accurate description on the autometer website.
  11. i'm in the same 'not great at wheel calculations' club. as i look at the posts and do the math it appears that these wheels will fit my z. rolled rear fender lips, stock fronts, gc coilovers all around. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=140223343930&rd=1

  13. happy birthday pete, hope the z is running great. take her out for a little birthday celebration!
  14. myron, i'm running my fuel filter between the tank and pump. my thoughts were [and i'm no engineer] was to catch and filter any crap before it got to my pump. just a thought.
  15. happy b-day clive, what you got planned for the big day?!
  16. you are correct mark, i'm running the stops at both ends.
  17. didn't replate them, just in good shape and purchased new nuts. i used the factory rubber/steel laminate washer b/w the mount & diff.
  18. bartman, thanks for the kudos!
  19. details-i had the fill/drain plugs, diff cover bolts and mount bolts all yellow zinc plated. diff cover was powdercoated, front diff mount was p'coated when it arrived-gunmetal color. the mustache bar, uprights and cross brace are all billet alum. i have [as you can see] done nothing with the diff itself, still covered in a layer of beautiful brown rust. dropped the stub axle companion flanges off to the plater today [had to beadblast them as they had a bunch of surface rust on them]. also had the axles plated-to keep them from rusting and so they'd look purty. before any points it out, the sway bar is hanging so i can get the driveshaft back in, then it'll be remounted and the fuel lines will tuck back in place...
  20. finally got all the pieces & parts. diff mounted, driveshaft being made and once complete just gotta put it together! can't wait to get her back on the road...
