  1. Gabe - Yes they want the car to sleep in a garage over night..on other words no chance of some brat kid scratching it in the middle of the night or if the weather gets ugly knowing you can pull it in. I believe mileage is not a biggie with them....I was not too concerned with this as I have driven my ZXT 8,000miles in the last 5years. Yasin
  2. OK guys I had my car appraised by an "approved or profesional" automobile appraiser. He charged me $100 for the report which documents the entire overall condition of the car (for example rust, paint condition, glass condition, door dings, weather stripping etc etc), then he made a note of all the mods done to the car, my car is decently modded (engine, brakes, suspension, interior) so I had him writing for over an hour in my garage. I then sent a copy of this report to Haggerty, that way they can see that everything is legit by a impartial 3rd party and not embelished by the owner... Alternatively call Hagerty and they can fax or email (pdf) a work sheet where you fill in the mods you have done and the overall condition and then they needs lots of pics of the car to back it up. My insurance for the year is cheap $450 and the car HAS to be garaged. I would recommend them, very inexpensive and the way to go if you value your Z. Pretty much all the classic and sports car guys are going this way. Hope that helps. Yasin
  3. Hmmmm...no wonder your name is "Confused"....should be "Dazed & Confused"...I crack me up.
  4. Just had my 280ZX Turbo re-appraised by Haggerty Classic Car Insurance..it came in at $14,000 which is pretty good. They accepted it with absolutely no questions whatsoever. Just thought I would share. Yasin
  5. Plumbing nightmare!! 502whp at 20psi http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyota-Supra-TURBO-1997-TRIPLE-TURBO-SUPRA-30K-MILES-VERY-RARE-600HP_W0QQitemZ4574779619QQcategoryZ6447QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Bling Kinesis Yasin
  6. Wow awesome video...that car is a total handful!!! I cannot imagine 400hp in a car that weight less than 2000lbs. HeavyZ - Did your brother get a smoking deal on his, I am unsure how much the Elise is selling for, I guess I should do a check online. Yasin
  7. For sale, look at the video!!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Marko-Djurics-White-Supra-1520-HP-8-SECOND-CAR_W0QQitemZ4574824399QQcategoryZ6447QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Yasin
  8. Mike it scares me to know that you actually found this car on eBay...I look at all types of cars on eBay but never Honda Civics!!...Be honest mang...you're in the market for this one....to add to your growing fleet... LOL Yasin
  9. Which Richmond are you at? I live in Colorado Springs, and the one here is not bad $8 for a distributor but they have goofey pricing for example $10 for an entire seat or $5 for a headrest by inteself! Go figure. Yasin
  10. I really respect the talen, time and dedication that goes into that kind of work...but alas not for me. Yasin
  11. Interesting....but their website has absolutely zero pics of the system installed on any cars let along a Z. You think if he bought a 280Z on Saturday and converted it to their standalone on Tuesday, they would be snapping pics like crazy to increase buyer confidence and help promote their product. Their write-up is good. For the price you are almost into SDS territory. Yasin
  12. Alex - Way to go! Told ya...love-hate relationship. Looks like Love is back in the air. Yasin
  13. Holy crap cakes thats ultra light for such a huge wheel - yowzer.
  14. Twistex - Totally, totally awesome car...wow! I am very impressed. Car looks untouchable on the track. 400whp and 1870lbs....OK I am officially scared! Yasin
  15. Totally badass!! Love them to death....how heavy are they bro? Yasin
  16. James - How on earth are you running 30psi? Your car must be a bullet! I read your article with great interest also looks like the rear suspension needs to be done soon? Yasin
  17. Tim - Great work buddy, will you do the floor as well, I am contemplating using that oil based paint on the concrete, about $100 from Home Depot to do an entire double garage? Ebay that stuff better than throwing it away. Yasin
  18. Alex...always loved your car especially this shot: I understand your decision, I have recently had a spiralling love-hate relationship with (all) my cars. So can relate. Sorry to hear and sorry that the car will not be completed. Sad day, but good luck to you. Yasin
  19. I know this thread is going off topic, but to get it back: Here is the 67mm BMW 635/735/535 Throttle body next to the stock 50mm L28E/L28ET unit. Whenever I get some free time, I am going mock it up on a spare intake I have and might do some testing with it, note it does not have coolant passage on it. Yasin
  20. Looking great Mike...! Twistex - Holy crappa! What is under the hood? LOVE IT! Yasin
  21. What an unusual car, I can totally believe that there is $150K spent on this car...it is sad and maybe....just maybe it was cool for a moment back in the day when it was created but now with all awful econo cars with ugly wings and tacky body kits it is a joke...it is a car of the '80s and definitely has not got old gracefully! ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D4572602010%2B%26fvi%3D1&rd=1&item=4572602010 Yes that is an Eagle Talon front light set-up! However it does have a beautiful intercooler, and RUF type gauges and NACA ducts on the rear 14 panels flares Says in the ad that the car has been dyno'd at 712 at the wheels at 1.5bar using 114 octane (!) and has the twin plug heads. Interesting: Its got EFI too These wheels must have been worth a fortune too back in the day: I am going to watch it out of curiosity, all yours for $50K Regards - Yasin
