  1. Here is more contact information on the seller. http://www.racetep.com/Cometicimport.htm
  2. Update: I have matching balls now! I found a 95 Nissan Pathfinder front CV axle for $20.
  3. I saw that you had shiro cv's in one of your threads, are the white shiro balls the same size as the regular turbo balls? I'm curious if the early 90's pathfinder have the same ones.
  4. I'm looking for the balls that go into the race/cage for the inner and outer cv axles. There are 6 balls on each end. For some reason, the person I bought them from didn't have all the balls, but he is looking for them. Meanwhile, I'm looking for 6-12 more balls (ball bearings?). If you have some or know where to buy them, it would be most appreciated. Thank You!
  5. I am still looking for the same flange. If you have one available, please PM me. Thank You.
  6. So I tried adjusting the CAS at home and well it does move! It was just really really hard to tell with the timing light in the sun, must be getting old. So I was able to get it really close to the timing marker, but not on the timing marker teeth with the CAS fully adjusted. So like Randy pointed out, I must be off a tooth. Argh, well this gives me motivation to drop the oil pump and install my 82-83 dizzy. Thanks for your help again Randy.
  7. Thanks for the reply Randy, the confusing part is that adjusting the CAS in either direction had no effect on timing. Also, the timing mark at 0TDC matches with the rotor under the dizzy poiting at the #1 wire (assuming the timing mark is correct).
  8. Hey guys, I have an 81 L28et in my 75 280z. I was getting around 8mpg and running really rich. So I did a few things to the car to figure out what might be causing the issue. I added an aeromotive fpr, pallnet fuel rail with gauge, and new stock l28et injectors. I changed the spark plugs and got new wires. Changed out o2 sensor and the CHTS. Since that didn't change anything, I started going back to the basics, I got myself a timing light and saw that it was running super advanced btdc. It was going beyond the timing marker, the timing mark was pointing between 8 to 9PM. If there were markers, it would be running somewhere around 35 to 40 btdc. So, I looked at the FSM and it says timing adjustment is done by the CAS down by the crank pulley. Well, since I didn't want to personally mess with the timing, I took it to Sunrise Z and had them do the adjustments even though it looked pretty darn easy. So they began to adjust it by turning the screw on top of the CAS, you could slowly see the CAS move. They tried to adjust this fully in both directions. However, this did not change the timing mark on the pulley nor did the engine noise change. Am I missing something here? We pulled the plug on the CAS to make sure the CAS was getting a signal because the car would not start without it. Is my CAS or dizzy operating incorrectly? I would definitely like to set my ignition timing back to factory. Thanks!
  9. Send me a PM with price. Hopefully under $50 shipped. I have paypal ready. Thanks!
  10. also looking for the same thing once tamo3 gets his of course.
  11. This is just lenses. http://allthingsz.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=27_28&products_id=43&zenid=9h96sd5homm7ihdj8jugruinc2 They get their stuff from Klearz. I assume he's looking for the whole housing, which uses two bulbs per turn signal.
  12. Thanks TR. Sunny Z here is the link where I saw them. http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/104237-78-280z-with-rebuilt-l28et-part-out/
  13. If you're trying to have all the tires the same, then I've seen 275/45/17 all around. Look at pictures of FlatBlack's Z, however I'll warn you that just about every tire size you choose will rub the front valence or air dam with a 17x9.5. Either you try to run a stretch on the front and adjust caster, or you have to cut the valence/air dam.

  15. this is correct, fat part should be more towards the front of the car.
  16. Thanks. PM sent. Still looking.
  17. The pictures of the BZ3099 are wrong if it has a perch. Tokico BZ3099's are the rear cartridges for the 87-89 Toyota MR2 that many s30's use for the fronts. HZ3099 are the Tokico Blue version.
  18. Looking for a GOOD complete set of 240z front turn signals under $100. Might be interested in ones with missing or broken lenses, but everything else must be in GOOD working condition. Please PM me. Shipping would be to CA 91745. Thanks!

    DRZ man

Few months ago was the last time I had any kind of contact with him. I paid him through paypal and had my friend over in Utah pick up the parts from his house. Let me know if you need his address and number.
  21. Cool. Do I bring my own tools or do they do it for you? Well either way, appreciate the help.
  22. Thanks, I've done my homework. The 75 280z which I have has the different flange from the other 280z's. I have a new transmission and driveshaft which requires the r200 companion flange from the 76-78 280z.
