  1. Looks to be the same mounting kit as this site. http://stores.bulldawgmusclecars.com/-strse-27/75-dsh-78-Datsun-280Z-LSx/Detail.bok GT40Rick is using this kit in his build thread: http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/110011-high-end-ls3-with-harrop-itb-t56-and-r230-build-log/
  2. Hey Keith, if you can, I'm hoping to see some pictures of the yoke and splines. Thanks!
  3. Thanks for the offer Matt, Stravi is suppose to be driving down from Norcal to drop off some strut tubes for me this week. Have to see how that goes.
  4. Hi Guys, Looking for a good pair of rear strut tubes from a 280z. Trying to minimize downtime while sectioning them. I would like to do local pickup within southern California (Inland Empire, Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego) area. I could do Norcal, but it would have to be in the beginning of August when I do a road-trip. Anyways, let me know what you got and how much. Thanks!
  5. Hey Matt, I have an extra AEM 30-4100 Wideband A/F UEGO. $120 shipped. Still boxed and unopened. I can take a pic over the weekend. Won't be able to ship out until next Monday. Let me know if you're interested.
  6. Threads like this one about the 280z would make me think that you would want to test fit without sectioning first. http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/55380-75-280z-strutcoilover-question/?p=502550
  7. It's actually the part that your wheels go on.
  8. This is how it is stock: I just took apart my stock 300zxt axles yesterday. Driver side 15 3/8". Passenger side 15 13/16". Longer input shaft goes to longer passenger axle. Shorter input shaft goes to shorter driver side axle. Per M2 instructions: I'm to use M2 axle measured at 14 13/16" with short input shaft on the driver side. Then use 15 3/8" axle with longer input shaft on the passenger side. As for reversing the cage, I don't have much to say about that. I've seen people do it and grind down the end of the axle. But that's as far as I've read about it.
  9. I measured the m2 shaft for the driver's side at 14 13/16". As for the passenger side, I don't have the m2 shaft. I'm using the stock 300zxt driver's side shaft on the passenger side now, which measure's 15 3/8".
  10. Couldn't resist as I've seen many topics on this http://lmgtfy.com/?q=obx+lsd+hybridz.org
  11. The 300zx turbo axles are 4 bolt. The 280zx turbo axles are 6 bolts as I just removed them from my stock 81 280zxt a few months ago.
  12. Something does look strange, not sure if it's the angle of the picture taken. Pic 2 is the correct side, but for some reason your Pic 1 looks better Found this on youtube to give you an idea You can see the fatter part of the ZG flare towards the front of the car.
  13. Contact or PM FricFrac on the forums. He has many of the connectors for both s30 and s130 Z's.
  14. THANK YOU!!! I re-ran that green wire to the fuel pump 12v. I can't believe I didn't realize my air regulator was operating 24/7 this whole time as it was connected to the battery 12v constant source. You saved me a lot of headache and stress. Thank you thank you thank you. You the man!
  15. Maybe someone can help me. I've been trying to locate my battery drain issues. I started off using a multimeter and setting it to reads amps. I disconnected the negative battery terminal. I read the amperage between the negative terminal and the negative cable end. I saw it was pulling around 170mA. So I started pulling fuses and relays. Nothing happened. Then I started pulling the connector ends out of the ECU. I noticed the drain went away. So I plugged back in the connector and started disconnecting everything that went back to that connector. Well, I pulled the connector going to the air regulator and the battery drain went away. I started tracing wires for the air regulator, one is green and the other is black. The green goes to battery 12V source. And the black goes to pin 108 for the ECU. As far as I can tell I don't see anything wrong with the wires themselves and I've tried to two air regulators and two ecu's with no luck. I must be missing something.
  16. My Z is the same year and I also have only 5 wires going to the voltage regulator. I don't understand where you installed that diode. Can you take a picture of it? It would be super helpful for us visual people.
  17. I'm pretty sure I was part of the first batch and mine are not polished but have the darkened look.
  18. Awesome, let me know your paypal address when you find it. Thanks!
  19. $40 shipped?? How much do these normally go for? I'm running out of things to buy for my Z.
  20. I'm looking for a 280z 76-78 Voltmeter/Fuel Gauge. I'm planning to swap the ammeter out of my 75 280z so the 76 gauge with the same font would be preferred, but I can live with a 77-78 also. Shipping would be to 91745, located between Los Angeles and Orange County. Hopefully something around $25-30 shipped for one in good working condition?
  21. The 82-83 280zxt dizzy will directly connect to the 81 zxt engine harness. In order to make it work on the 81zxt engine, you need the matching 82-83 oil pump shaft. The main difference between the 81 and 82-83 distributor is the location of the CAS, however, both distributors still have the same wiring connection ends. Honestly, this information is all over the site. Search!
  22. Look under 240z parts section and under fiberglass. Hope that helps. http://classicdatsun.com/
  23. I think this is the same. http://zhome.com/History/CargoCover.htm
