That guy was looking for an excuse... His wife probably wasn't there for him to beat when he got home. You should report it to the police, just because you don't have the license plate doesn't mean he won't be shopping for a new window this week. It's not hard to track someone down like that.

Looks like a quick maaco paintjob, trim and everything is just sprayed over, suprised the windows aren't painted too... I hope crispy chicken didn't really try to sign up just to post that here... Go to a i'm rich and can't think of a better way to waste my money forum instead. Maybe someone there will buy it and paint it chrome. No one here would Give a finger for that car, never mind an arm and a leg.

Here's another one... Edit: Probably about as illegal as driving around with a Jeep light bar pointed directly at the car behind you attached to the back of your Z ...

That thread is awesome. From a spectator's point of view anyway... Cheers To Our Mods for keeping this site strictly NON-Jerry Springer.

Correct...A boost controller won't lower boost, it only lets you raise it. I had to buy a new actuator to lower the boost in my miata with a DSM turbo. Is your wastegate actuator or arm bent anywhere, or does it have any rust on it? Edit: Also, with the homemade bracket, is the arm straight? i'd imagine an arm that doesn't feed into the actuator perfectly straight could make it harder for it to open. The actuator I bought is able to be set for either 5 or 9 psi and it cost me around $100 But it's better than blowing More oil out your exhaust than the alaska pipeline leak. (like I did when I tried to run 15psi the first time)

Truck stops. Any large truck stop has replacement lenses in many different sizes and styled cuts. Good Luck

For the "curved" letters it's 2.95 each... 7 Letters, $3 each = $21 Plus the cost of making a new mold (maybe?) I'd guess About $25 each? Maybe less if the mold isn't a real expense, or if it's figured into their profits for making 300 of them? I think we need to get Admin's permission to use the HybridZ Logo, then see what kind of real interest we would have. I'm sure at least one person here would take a bulk of them to re-sell. With 5000 Plus Members, I don't think 300 will be too much of a problem to get...

That has my vote. Simple. I'm in for 2, maybe 3 at a reasonable price. (1 for the car, 1 for the toolbox, 1 for a backup.)

The beginnings of my swap *pics*

Looks like a pretty good starting point. Good luck, and keep us updated! -
Vids of s30's with mild 350's in them
Datsun350Z replied to 240zV8's topic in Gen I & II Chevy V8 Tech Board
I'd like to see some also. There are quite a few clips on youtube and other sites, but i've seen the same clip labeled as 3 different engines already, so it might not be too helpful. A "Post your favorite Z clip" thread would be nice to see. But... I don't have a good clip to start it. -
Anyone want to replace their low geared truck tranny? There is a 5 speed from an 88 Trans am GTA for $250 on Craigslist. You can probably snag it for $200... http://newyork.craigslist.org/brx/pts/205017619.html

They do look like they could be, but the diameter is 3.5" on the inside, and it also seems like it would rattle like crazy... unless it's missing a rubber gasket (1/4 inch thick) on the inside which would fit a 3" exhaust. Rags: I'd still like to check out your car, do you have any free time this weekend? I need some motivation to get some real work done on my Z. That way I don't have to tow it to your garage if you have a get-together

I just got a stack of old paperwork from the last owner of my car. There are a few papers that are from hooker that seem to be a V8 conversion kit. Did this exist, or is it something else that just mentions v8 conversion, like headers for the swap? I also have an early 90's Arizona Z car brochure with a few products I didn't know about. I'll also scan pages of that if anyone is interested. Bonus question: what is this? 4 of them were mailed to me with the paperwork, and no description.

Mine are similar also. Molded in the fender. Start the bodywork next week. It Might even start to look like a real car. I have a few extra vents laying around, trying to figure out if there is anywhere I can use them without looking like I hooked up my car at Pep Boys.

Good Luck... I sold mine to buy my Z

Just make sure it is an offset style stripe, otherwise it could be mistaken for a pair of suspenders (Much less tough than a tattoo IMO) from a distance. Edit: Also, any reason why I have 30 posts, and it's only registering as 22? Are My posts measured at the wheels?

Sorry to bring up an old thread... what happened to the meet? Rescheduled, or just dead? I'm interested in a NY area Z club. In a few months i might even be able to drive mine there under it's own power. (with paint)

Where does the "Reputation" description come from?
Datsun350Z replied to rags's topic in Non Tech Board
I just threw a positive towards your rep. How's the Z scott was working on looking? Got any pics? -
Thanks. I found that thread in one of the searches. Not quite sure what I was looking at until now... the first pic is the splitter upside down, that confused me.

What else is there, other than the headlight covers I read about?

I'm trying to figure out the difference between stock and the g-nose front. I've spent an hour trying to find pics and a description. The older g-nose threads on here that seem to have the info most have broken pic links. Yahoo! images gives me a rat of some sort... I have that under my hood, not on the outside. I'm under the impression that the g-nose extends past the hood and makes the car longer than the original front. It uses different hood hinges. For some reason it is desirable. My front end is molded into 1 piece bumper, headlight buckets, and fenders. Questions: (Assuming I have what I'm talking about) 1. Is mine a G-nose? 2. Same hood? 3. Why does everyone seem to like it? (if mine is a G-nose, i'm not really a big fan) 4. Can I sell mine and re-coup enough to do the same front end as the car with good paint? or maybe have someone with a similar front end trade with me? (Hope you don't mind me using your car as an example) 5. Am I stupid for not liking the G-nose?
