  1. Forgot to mention pipe must be 3", and the vac port size would be like that on most valve covers, 1 inch for a bov for instance would be too large.
  2. Alright so I'm working on making an intake for my n/a rb25 and I want to retain the valve cover vapor vent rather than just slap a filter on it. Eventually Ill do an oil catch can but for now I want everything operating to stock form. Here's a picture of what I'm looking for: I found this from a company in the UK but the diameter of the vac port is too large. They also sell this guy which is pretty neat but it's kind of pricey for what it is..and shipping from the UK ugg.. Now I know I can just go buy some basic ebay pipe and cut it to fit but I'm just suprised how hard it is to get something with a bit of quality. If any of you guys have websites for something please post it up I'm getting tired of this scavenger hunt!

  4. In my boredom yesterday I made an air inlet for the future intake. My previous RB responded better to a short ram style intake over a cold air type. Ill eventually have some sort of pipe or air deflector to direct the air to the filter. The inlet used was from a Nissan Titan oem air box and it was able to bolt it right to the radiator support using the pre-existing holes.

  7. Thanks guys! Here's a long overdue update. Got all 4 wheel hubs installed. These are super light compared to the originals. Wheels and tires came out nice, it doesn't looks as much like an F1 car now but function over fashion. I had to buy longer wheel studs to accommodate the new style of wheel. Installed an oil catch can. So far I've only driven it the one time. I found a hairline crack in the clutch cover which was slowly weeping out the fluid so the hunt goes on for a vintage horstman clutch cover. The gas tank seal at the filler cap also has a leak which could leak gas out during cornering so that will need to be replaced as well. I have a kill switch button I need to wire in as well. Unfortunatly with my Z undergoing a motor swap the Kart has been put on the back burner for now but expect go pro racing vids of this guy in the future. Here's a VERY informative video I found on youtube regarding setting up a kart.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtM0rS64PwA&index=4&list=LLJN0uPeXbpHyLSNM_CN5HAw

  15. With my last RB Z I never had to touch the oil pan and it was stock so I can only assume it was the hard to find OEM rear sump pan. After looking at the expensive Mckinney pan and the cheap looking CXRacing I found what looks like a good middle ground. The enjuku racing pan w/ pick-up. http://www.enjukuracing.com/products/rb25det-rb20det-s30-z31-rear-sump-oil-pan.html Anyone have any other options to throw out there or opinions on the enjuku? I'm not really looking to have a shop fab something up.
  16. Nice, I want matching tach and speedo for sure. The speedo will be on my future list of things to do.
  17. Here's a couple re-edits I did. These will modivate me to keep throwing money at it for a little while hopefully..

  23. Its near the steering rack on the inside lip of the dash. Its white. Ill snap a pic when I get a chance.
