  1. I agree with 1 fast Z, Phil just get some affordable China Turbos and take it to town. Alex
  2. Amazing...Here is more on the subject http://www.autoblog.com/2008/11/10/ebay-find-of-the-day-1963-lemans-tempest-sells-for-226-521/ Alex
  3. Kevin!! Is great to see a very familiar Z to be use for a good cause LOL... hey let me know when your back in town (to visit your folks), I got somenthing for you. I will be in town for a few weeks then heading back to the desert. Take care, Alex
  4. Thanks and agree with the statement, for $300.00 back then, you can only get so much. Thanks again, Alex
  5. Bartman, are you please with their Cf hood I am the market for one, although I am a bit skeptical about what some folk said about their quality. I personally have not seen one yet. Alex
  6. That is too much money for my taste, I have a set almost new, that I purchased on my last trip to Europe (last month) for $100.00 U.S. No need to pay that much, in fact one can go to any European and Asian Zcar web sites and I am sure with patience one can find a good deal. Some of the HybridZ Aussie members can perhaps help find a good set of tail lights for us here in the U.S. Alex
  7. Hahahah I did not mean it that way sorry…. I though you were serious, about not able to find the videos:mrgreen:
  8. No worries, just go to You Tube and type Riccardo Patrese, Vids are there. Alex
  9. I am glad that I am wrong , that is a nice piece, do you have a web site, or better yet, please PM me with any imfo. regarding the airdam. Thanks, Alex
  10. Usually some people like to Stroke the L24 engine, when matching numbers come into place i.e. when the original engine is in the car, and one wants’ to gain a bit more torque, and smother drivability. Sure, is possible I did it on my old 1970, many, many centuries ago, I actually bored my to .20, decent power and drove smoother, if I recall I had more or less the same setup that you have in yours. There is an article in Grassroots motorsport magazine on the topic, I don’t remember the issue# but if you go to their web site, perhaps you'll be able to find something on the subject. Rabello sells a kit for what you want to do, so I think, so you’re in the right track. Good luck, Alex
  11. The first picture is Adobe photoshop, perhaps the other one's as well (place close attention on the blue Z front bumper, and the bit of detachment or gap). Alex
  12. Greetings, Thank you all for the inputs, Yes Ron, you are right about the certain models with EPS, if I am not mistaking all 95+manual trans. NXS came with EPS (don't know on the S2000), except the Zanardi models, The Zanardi has the same variable rack as the ‘95+EPS cars and they simply deleted the assist. As far as how it works, a steering sensor is located on the input shaft where it enters the gearbox housing. Perhaps ECU driven, don’t know much or anything, although I certainly like the Idea of EPS. Great info on the topic. Point taking on the black text, thanks:icon14:. Alex Deprat
  13. Great pictures:icon14:, after seeing then, I more and more like the idea of EPS into the Z. Thanks, Alex
  14. Greetings, I will like to know if anyone here has/had any experience with Electrical Power Steering (EPS), some of the new cars already have then installed i.e. Acura NXS, Honda S2000, Toyota Prius, etc... The little that I know is that EPS provides power assist even when the engine is stop (I assume that the ignition key has to be in the 'on' to avoid steering locked and to sent electrical power). It also improves fuel economy due to it is lightweight. The DC motor consumes energy only when power assist is require, along with that EPS is powered by a 12V motor and is not dependent on the engine for its power source, so the steering feel is not affected when the engine is shut OFF. There is a member here that has perhaps, a Z ready kit for sale on his web site, out of his company respect I rather not advertise his name, since I just will like to know if anyone know, or driven a car with the such. Thank you, Alex
  15. :mrgreen:Ohhh just a nice looking red hair lady, modeling and holding very nice Harley Parts just for advertisement. Alex
  16. :lmao:No you are not the only one. I once had an 89 240Z, (it was a 1970)for me it was quite an easy process, pretty much just a re-title of the vehicle, make then do their job, sometimes is too easy for the DMV. They need to walk their happy %%% to the car and veryfied the vin# and your name, that is it. Alex
  17. Well it truly depends what you’re seeking i.e. cleaner engine bay, maintain the stock setup/look, etc… to be honest you can get great performance with the stock set up, few people just get bigger injectors (more cc’s). Most people choose the 14mm Oring GM style injectors and aftermarket fuel rail since you can get then everywhere; there are also 11mm Oring injectors with the same style, your choice. Moreover, Rx7’s and some Supra’s N/A injectors have a “screw in style” that in order to be use with ours L6 intakes, they have to be machine for the fitment, in difference with the other mentioned which in term, are more or less (few mods)Plug n’ Play. Alex
  18. Check the link below, and choose on the instruction for the pretending subject. Good luck. http://www.accel-ignition.com/InstructionSheetsDownloads.aspx?ID=806 Alex
  19. Hey! Smokey Yunick fabricated a 7/8 scale 1967 Chevelle for Curtis Turner to race in the 1967 Daytona 500. I say Do it, anything is possible with the motivation and the right tools. http://www.smokeyyunick.com/ Alex
  20. That is it! Just the amber part of the taillight is what makes it special for us in the States. Alex
  21. Thank you for the response. Well to be honest with you all, I been playing with a plastic welding kit lately, it seems to work fine. I just have to get a bit more proficient with the apparatus, since welding plastic is something totally new for me. Thanks again, Alex
  22. :-DWell since we’re on the subject I have a question, how can one remove the tail light chrome trim (or actually the whole taillight) without breaking the tip of the trim in the back of the housing. It just seems to be an almost impossible task, Tony D. or 1 tuff Z any input on this task. Thanks, Alex
  23. I also found this reading on the topic at the CZC web site. Good luck, http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30671&highlight=tail+lights
