  1. Edited the values to bring my WOT AFR to about 11.8. It pulled stronger, but still has the same problem. My timing is advancing fine, I'm running 30 degrees at 2800rpm+
  2. The lowered look makes all the difference in the world!
  3. I'm running through the ford module and simply using the PIP and SAW signals with megasquirt. I verified that my timing is actually changing with a timing light, and there doesn't seem to be anything crazy happening. It pulls pretty hard up to about 4300, then starts to trail off. When I get home from work I'm going to try to run a ground wire straight from the module to my battery terminal. Right now it runs back to my under-dash master ground strip.
  4. Running a holset hy35w with a 24x12x3 intercooler and 3" pipes. Screen mesh on the turbo inlet. Right now I'm running with the wastegate open while I tune. I have 45psi of fuel pressure, good looking plugs, no pinging or detonation, a steady 13v under load. Yesterday I reduced the spark plug gap to .025 thinking it might have been the spark blowing out, no difference. I should note that even in neutral it flat lines at 4500, so this isn't a load related problem.
  5. I'm looking at a pair of seats on ebay in baltimore. The seller refuses to ship them. I was wondering if there is anyone in the area that would be willing to pick them up and drop them off at UPS? I would be perfectly happy to pay you for your time
  6. I have an innovate LC1 with the wonderful defective DAC circuit so the output to megasquirt isn't working. I monitor the realtime AFR through Innovate Logworks software. It works nicely, minus the ability to autotune. My AFR is 14:1 at cruise, 12.5 under light throttle, and 11:1 at WOT.
  7. Yes, I have it at 6500 right now for both the hard and soft limit.
  8. I've been chasing this annoying problem ever since installing megasquirt v3/EDIS/holset. At approximately 4500rpm in any gear, the engine appears to hit a rev limiter and refuses to rev any higher. It sounds like it is losing spark or not igniting properly. My AFR is 10.5 under WOT. My plugs are at .035. I thought it was my VR sesnor cable, so I replaced it with a brand new shielded unit, no difference. You can see a good example of this in my datalog at 286 seconds in. In 2nd gear it just flatlines at 4300. boost.zip
  9. WOW, I just did this last week with mine. I was looking home depot for some parts when the idea hit. It works great!
  10. Depends which year holset you have. I have one from a '00 automatic. Even with reclocked housings it still hit. Mine doesn't have the cast in 90 degree elbow.
  11. I was wondering about the possibility of running dual inline mufflers. I happened to get a good deal on a pair of dynomax 3" bullet mufflers. Turbo-downpipe-muffler-straight pipe-90-90-muffler. What do you think? Good-bad-stupid?
  12. I just installed a holset hy35 this last week. You will need a 1/2" thick t3 flange to give enough clearance for the compressor housing against the exhaust manifold. A stock manifold works fine. My downpipe is made from a 3" 180 degree bend that I cut in half and welded back together. Works great!
  13. Off topic, but I fixed my EDIS spark last night. Spent forever trying to figure out why I was getting no spark, except when I turned my key from cranking back to run. Turns out my VR sensor was reversed. That was really strange because I wired everything back to their factory matching colors.
  14. No Aziza, YOUR color is the sexiest color I've ever seen on a Z.
  15. Dynosheet? How could those numbers possibly be right?
  16. I do, I do!! I stupidly did not realize that mine actually needs to be rotated too. Is there any way I could borrow it asap?
  17. I recently installed a turbo engine into my car and couldn't figure out why it was running so bad. Come to find out, the cam was retarded by a tooth. I just set the #1 piston at TDC and looked up the #1 intake and exhaust lobes. They should be pointing at 10 and 2 o'clock. The key is to notice if they are evenly out from straight up, 12 o'clock. Did that make sense?
  18. Could you post links for the parts?
  19. 160mph in a Z06 down the straight at Texas World Speedway. The car felt solid as a rock.
  20. Yeah, they're all working. PM me for more info. Need any other EFI parts?
  21. I'm pulling my N/A '77 injectors off next weekend. Want to buy mine for cheap?
  22. Here ya go. I believe this is right, going off the top of my head. I had the same problem the first time I took my manifolds off
  23. Did you unbolt the shared bolts between the intake and exhaust manifold?
