  1. Wow, it came out looking great after the painting!
  2. Here is what I wanted to do for the velocity stacks. I'll have to machine out the plenum to accept the new 2x20 bar that will have the radi milled into it. Then it will all be welded together.
  3. Hey TR, maybe we can work a deal and I could have two manifolds welded up at the same time
  4. That's a definite yes on the velocity stacks. Those parts were all I had time to machine over spring break though. Now that I look at the turbo intake design thread, I'm starting to have second thoughts about my log intake. I wonder if its worth the time and materials to construct an optimum design.
  5. I know! There is absolutely no room for tall guys. That's why the s30 is great compared to modern cars, so much leg room.
  6. Think of what kind of gains you would see after getting rid of that stock manifold...
  7. Aren't most supercars a distraction to the drivers around them anyway?
  8. Welcome to my turbo build! I've been inspired by the amazing members here such as Big Phil I'm hoping to get about 350hp to the wheels. Right now I'm unwilling to crack the engine open to do any head/bottem end work. Bought/Built so far: L28ET complete engine bought on ebay and shipped from Ohio 2002 Holset HY35 (Non elbow version) Megasquirt MS1 V3, Harness, and Temp Sensors 12mm Billet Fuel Rail (Still need to drill oring holes) Custom Log Style Intake Still need to buy/build: 440cc Injectors Intercooler/Piping Wideband O2 Meth Injection Random other little things
  9. It looks like I would have to fab a new exhaust elbow AND a new intake elbow. I'm really disappointed because I was hoping it would just bolt in place.
  10. I was so excited to get my Holset HY35 in the mail today, but it looks different then the other ones I've seen. There is no 90 degree cast in bend on the intake side. Is this the difference between the HY35 and HY35W? Will I get similar numbers out of this one?
  11. Hey Texis, where in Houston are you?
  12. I found that keeping tension on the chain isn't good enough! Your block needs to actually extend all the way to the tensioner and wedge itself between the tensioner and chain guide. I actually use a long handled screwdriver for the job.
  13. Does commuting around the giant campus of Texas A&M count? I've got a Specialized P3. Converted to single speed, avid juicy brakes, 120mm manitou sherman.
  14. I think the dash is one of the best parts of the 240Z's look...
  15. Had Rhinoliner put on my dash a year ago and it looks as good today as it did the day it was sprayed.
  16. Nooooooooooooo, not the amazing front lip and fender. I hope you get it fixed!
  17. I had 30 cnc cut mild steel flanges made about 6 months ago. All of them were sold to forum guys. Maybe someone here would like to sell theirs?
  18. I used to do small scale Lexan forming in the microwave. Worked great!
  19. I took some measurements, and it's not good. The throw at the tranny tunnel level is very little. This will translate into a messed up looking gate.
