  2. DAMN you are light ! im 6"2 and weight at 230 lol
  3. id say 9 or 9,5 in front and 10 in the back is a great combo but i dont have much experience its just what my track buddy told me .
  4. I signed and i told them it would be great if drifting got some coverage to
  5. Yeah im kinda curious about the price too ?
  6. Im going to get my plate next week ill try to see if they have 280 ZED or maybe 280 VQZ or 280 VQT
  7. I thought about the 240sx dash but incorporating the S30 triple gauge in the middle . Its still a dream but ill start some drawings soon .
  8. Small question do they weight more then the factory ones ?
  9. You can get a smaller battery and you can swiss cheese the metal plate behind the seats CF hood FBG fenders (not so light compared to stockers) Aftermarket A-arms light wheels helps alot ... cant think of more without going hardcore swiss cheesing it .
  10. I have a sunroof on my Z it was their when i bought it and i hate it i cant wait get rid of it .
  11. Id love the fact that someone could document this swap because its a dead given that this engine is better deal then an RB26 here in Canada and RB26 is 3000$ plus 1500 more for the GTS tranny and then you need to rebuild because those babys dont get good treatment useally . I made a rought cost without labor for a Build VQ35 with Sleeves, rods, pistons two used T3/T4 custom manif. gaskets ARP studs and hardware , clutch kit but no exhaust and i get around 8500 $ and good for 600hp++ easy to make that much on an RB considering the disponibility of parts and tuners that works those engines it would take more to make as much on an RB . 8500 $ can be less if you have good contacts on parts etc. its my 2 cents ... i really think the VQ is the engine made to go in a S30 its new meets old .
  12. Good to see people getting some interest in the VQ swap ! You will probably be done before me i just got the motor no tranny form a 2005 350Z cant wait to start fiddeling with it . Too bad i dont have the cash to start building it . Their is a great article on NICO on how to do twins right the first time (turbos you perv's) go check it out its pretty well written .
  13. I got the same issue with my ebrake ill try and cut the wire or adjust the rod even further . The big problem is that the adjusting rod is behind exhaust and drive shaft and the part where the cable is going to each side i just right over the diff. so its a pain to work in that area .
  14. And is the stock L28 clutch a 240 mm ?
  15. Thanks Jon and J.Soileau , i remeber that thread .
  16. Yeah mostly lost in translation . I dont get the part but the rest seems easy its to use the Q45 axel mutants and use that instead ...
  17. i Know the GTR32 has a R200 CLSD short nose with 6 bolt outer so maybe the Q45 half shaff conversion could be applied to it dunno yet im still searching for one to check it out .
  18. That on a L28 right ? I was wondering the same thing if a 240sx clutch would fit on a L28 . EDIT= I just checked ATC website and their heavy duty pressure plate has the same part number (SKU: 83705500095) and Centre Force has the same part number for both their kit (225mm) on 240sx and 280Z L28 equiped . Good to know ! Further searching told me that SR20DET clutch are 240mm and KA24DE are 225mm
  19. I was wondering the same thing she's cute !
  20. I tried bleeding the brakes and its my first time wasted half a gallon of brake fluid and its still not working . A freind a work asked me if i inverted the calipers like they say the right on the left and etc , i said i did then he told me thats your problem the bleeder is at the bottom and needs to be on top . I felt stupid for a couple hours . Im gonna switch them back on their original side left on left r on r and try it again . Dunno if its installed right the bracket ears are towards the front of the car .
  21. Good question i never did a comp test on a crate engine but if you have a ecu a battery enought juice to crank the thing enought time to check it out ... anyone else could guide him .
