    I was just going to say soda blasting is what i did and it turned out better than i thought it would. but i went to my local rental yard and it cost me $275 for the mich.,soda,delivery and pick-up. also the guy that dropped it of showed me what to do and what not to do. just a thought.

    Glen if you have it on the stand you can leave it right side up like it sits in the car and drop the oil pan. if you see metal shavings its bad, if not chances are its good.

    thanx, I know i'll need it. hopefully the soda blasting guy finished the car today so i can start body work on monday. Oh and my friend that owns the production co. is going to video all the hard stuff so if anyone needs a "know how video" i can give them out for free.

    I found that thread also but thats not the correct one. the one i saw had a complete "corvette" rear susp. and alot more pics. like 10 or 15 of them.

    I used the search option for 2 hours and found nothing on it but. I'm looking for thead that has the vette rearend swap. it has pics and a very good write up on how to doit. anyone remember?

    I have rear disc brackets if you need them. Also the toyota junkyard near my house sells the 4/p 4x4 calipers for $20 each. let me know.

    One of my good friends ownes a drive axle shop. let me ask him today if the 3 b/b axle can be made into a 5 or 6 b/b axle.
