  1. Looking for an automatic brake pedal for a friend's 240z. Thanks, Ryan
  2. Finally got back around to working on this 280. I haven't had time recently to work on this car, but the guy wanting my '78 has been asking about it. He's ready to get started on turning into a full drag car. And I'm ready to get rid of the '78. I stripped the interior out of the car several months back, so the next thing on the list was swapping suspension goodies mentioned above between the '78 and the '76. So, today my friend Paul came over and we knocked out most of the rear suspension swap. This worked out for him, too, as he needed the rear suspension from the '76 for his recently purchased 240z. He brought his rear 240 suspension for the suspension shuffle. The new owner doesnt car about suspension or brakes, since he's going to gut the '78. We just need to be able to move the car and get it on a trailer in a few weeks. '76 in the air with rear suspension out. Still need to disconnect the driveshaft and pull the r200. '78 donor car, with kaminari front spoiler and fiberglass hood already removed. Still need to pull the lights. These are on the '76 now. I'm not doing any cleanup for now, just wanting to get the '76 back on wheels and the '78 to the new owner. The '76 will go for paint in a month or two and clear a spot for me to get the 260 in the garage. That being said, they'll clean up quite easily. I had cleaned and repainted these before they went on the '78. Front suspension swap will be next weekend... Motor removal will occur shortly after... Paint job pending afterwards. Whole lotta shuffling...
  3. Also, you're not alone: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/itprovistasp/thread/164871b2-46b3-4866-830f-9bf392dc5ad1
  4. xlsx is the standard extension for Excel 2007. it should open simply by double-click... which is what he's trying to do. it sounds like the registry association with xlsx got hosed somehow. has it always had this behavior? does the same happen for *.xls files? is reinstalling office 2k7 an option for you?
  5. The car came out of paint jail last weekend and is currently in my friend Paul's garage. My engine is sitting on a stand at his place, so it makes sense to get the engine together and back in at his place. Also, a friend of his is going to rebuild my transmission. And my garage is currently full as it is. I rebuilt the quarter windows with new seals last week: And today I went to Paul's and put my weld wheels back on, as well as the quarter windows, inner hatch seal, and door seals. The car looks way better with the weld wheels, but it's very jeep-like right now. I have a ton of cleanup to do... I also bought a new cam for the 377 today. I'll post specs soon. I'll do some more next weekend, but the holidays will prevent me from doing too much until january.
  6. I still have them, but recently decided not to sell them. These are slated to go in a 240z that a friend purchased over the weekend. Thanks for the referral, though.
  7. The 70-72 are more desirable. The '73 mounting brackets are boat anchors compared to the earlier ones.
  8. Hello nullbound, somebody told me on a post about headers i made that you were selling a pair of Hooker headers for 350 SB do you still have them? if you do, how much and how much will it cost to ship to 92173?

  9. Paint is almost done. I should have the car back in less than 2 weeks. The painter isn't happy with a few things (including the hood), so he's trying to straighten out those things before he'll let me take it home. I have no complaints about that. Haven't had much time to work on the motor. I've been cleaning the heads and the intake manifold, but still a lot more cleaning to do.
  10. No updates really. I've been daily driving it and still working on the 260z. I did put my rechromed front end pieces back on (the hood trim and 3 pieces that surround the grill) and cleaned her up a bit for DNI 2009:
