  1. No front sump pans came on any of the 2jz/1jz supras US or JDM...what you have is a aristo 2jz...which fine and is rated at 280hp...
  2. It Seems for those who want more of a road road car, choose the 280z...For drag the 240 seems to be the better choice...The 260 seems to be the middle man....Either one will do though because all will need some newer tech upgrades to perform best....
  3. Just because a car is turbo, doesn't mean it's a straight line performer only...Take the skyline, it's one of the best track cars ever..and it's turbo......

I see your point..but if find one that runs, then i could sell the motor, and pick up a couple of hundred right there....either way i want one real bad but i don't have the time for a swap and major resterestion....Which is the reason im considering a s13/s14 because thats really the only other "light" RWD car i like...theres the Fc rx-7 turbo II which i like, but my brother has that....Anyway sorry to thread jack.... For the guys that did the swap..is there a way to mod the stock s30 mounts to work..is it feasible?
  5. A 240z sure would be faster the hp caculator has the 240 running 11.2 in the 1/4 with only 350hp...wow!! I know where a 73 is right now that runs good for only $500 obo.....

I will do the swap in a 240z or a s13, i just don't know which yet....I really want to do a 240z because it's light and 300whp will get me high 11's low 12's in a 240z.....the s13 is light also at 2600lb and has a more solid body... Which ever comes cheapest(and most solid) is what i will go with.....Is there anything you don't like about the swap?
  7. Which trans fits the best( shifter location) the supra or the chaser/sora trans?
  8. Im torn...1jz in a s13 or 1jz in a 240z???.....I just hard to find a 240z thats not rusted to hell under a grand...im too cheap i guess...lol
