  1. Mutts are the best kind! Incidently, I ran across what must have been the same breed (except it might have been pure) out hiking one day with no one else around for miles. The dog was awesome, and let me tell you could it find squirrels in a heartbeat! It was a great, lively, friendly dog however I would say that they are prone to wandering... because I have no idea where this dog came from, or went to. After hanging around with me for a couple of hours it just took off.
  2. My plan is to have them all shipped to me and ship them out to you. You won't pay any additional charges other than the SDS price - the discount. I will just change the discount % everyone recieves to cover my costs of shipping. Shipping to the US from Canada costs more, and I wouldn't dare ship something worth this much without significant insurance, which costs too... But I figured I'd charge everyone a flat rate for shipping regardless of where they are just to make things easier. (instead of finding an individual price for each person ordering)
  3. Ooh, thanks... could have used that one a few times now.
  4. A couple to choose from: Monty Python and The Holy Grail The Princess Bride Honourable mention to the following: Anything with Jackie Chan Lord of the Rings Trilogy Star Wars Origional Trilogy
  5. The early Z brake pedal is adjustable. Just go under your dash headfirst and you can adjust the pedal height to have the brake engage when you want it to. If it's pulling and the brakes are all known to be good, then its alignment of some sort. With cars this old it is likely they've been in some sort of fender-bender along the way and it wouldn't be hard for something to be out of align other than just basic toe... Pretty much the only way to know if it's slight is to take it to an alignment shop.

Heh, I'm beginning to wonder what the lingering smell in my car really is... (I bought the car from Drewz)
  7. I think 225/250 are an ideal starting point for a stiff street car. So much so I am going to start in the same place.
  8. Mike I think 250/300 you'll find to stiff for the street... If you plan on making it a track car down the road, the $200 you'll drop for new springs will be a drop in the bucket at that point. I've been in quite a few quick street/auto-x Z's at this point, and they are in the 200lbs/in area, generally slightly less. Perhaps they could all see benefit of stiffer springs, but they generally respond really well that those rates and don't feel soft at all...
  9. I have a screwdriver here that reads to 0.01mm, but nothing in standard. I think there is an adapter available though.
  10. It's still over 3000lbs though... bleh. Personally I like the styling other than the front end. From side/top/rear is screams cobra to me.
  11. I had a heck of a time getting them. I put up a post on a supra forum and ended up getting some more. I have 11 now, but really only 7 are in good shape and I need 6 of them. Try emailing slctragedy@yahoo.com and ask the guy if he has any more to sell. He might. He does have some 440cc injectors for sale that use the same connection.
  12. Uh, sit on the floor? Sorry, couldn't resist. You could buy a 2+2 and sit in the back seat though.... :D
  13. Straight from Modern Motorsports website: "one pair of 300ZX Z31 rear 11-3/8's rotors (’83-9/85, post ’85 are smaller and NOT the right ones), 4 lug (normally aspirated) or 5 lug (turbo) depending on your current or desired setup" I don't know the specifics of the maxima bracket, but I'm pretty certain both setups were made to work with the same rotors.
  14. Wow, that price just slays me! I've yet to see the parts at all, but I certainly know how much Ross is a fiend for presenting a quality product. Awesome deal!
  15. No the distinction isn't the number of lugs. AFAIK, 4 bolt was used in the 84 & 85 non-turbo, 5 bolt for the rest. Canadian model front rotors measure ~9.75" in diameter, while the non-canadian model is ~10.50" in diameter. If you are doing the S12W swap you need the non-canadian rotor. Offset, width, etc. all remain the same between the two rotors.
  16. Depends on the diff actually... I've seen a lot of nissan diffs with a fill and a drain plug in the rear cover. I believe the R200's all have both... can't recall whether the R180's have both or not. Regardless follow Tim's instructions for filling.
  17. ARP has a kit available for the L-series.
  18. It's harder and harder to find someone able to set up triples... I would try to find a competant motorcycle mechanic if all else fails, as they've been dealing with multiple carbs for years.
  19. I like it a lot, finally a new car without a fat ass. Rear end reminds me a bit of a S14/S15... The suede/velour dash has to go though... Cool though, I really like to see things like this... one day I am going to build myself something like that.
  20. Kick ass! That had to be the best movie ever for 1 liners...
  21. I've had no objections from those I've asked, so the plan is to push it back 1 month, to February 15th. This will hopefully let people recover a little more from the holiday financial crunch and still give people enough time to purchase and install before any summer shows/events. Hopefulyl we can get a few more people as well for a better discount.
