Hey Gary, good to hear someone chime in that has used that diff and pushed it. I'm curious about your VG30DET 510, got any pics you can post or email? What did you do to get clearence at the steering box? We've got one in progress here and have converted it to rack & pinion, and a Z crossmember... I'm curious to see how you've done yours.

No it is just on complete systems. However, if we get 10 or more, than we can get an AIC at the same discount. It just doesn't count towards the 10.

Yep, R160. But not all is lost. A local Z guy is running one of these R160 LSD units in his 240z in heavy autocross use. He's running a fairly hot 2.8L triple setup that I would estimate is in the area of 180-190rwhp. He's run 2 full autocross seasons with this diff, and is running A032's. He's a smooth driver but isn't afraid to put the hammer down too. However with that said, I've long ago decided that it would be too weak for a turbo application... or at least too weak for me to spend money trying it.

That is definately the style of clamp to use with silicone (is it silicone or silicon?) hose. The style I use is a bit different, it has nylock nuts and a T-shaped bolt, but the same pricipal applies.

I just used straight cut pipe, but I am using rubber radiator hose from a semi-truck as couplings; it is no where near as slippary as silicone hose. If you use quality band clamps with silicone hose then you can get away without beading the piping as they can clamp really tight without damaging the hose. Your joint alignment needs to be quite good, and you can't couple a curved section of pipe however.

I ran the honda wheel spacers without any issues except when I forgot to locktite one of the inside nuts. No damage done, but I recommend blue locktite on the hidden nuts if you are using a bolt on spacer. I've never heard of any of these failing, not even ones in serious front corner collisions. (wheel ending up where the top of the hood should be... spacer was fine)

Aux, I know they support rotory's with their D system, which is fuel only. It might be worth giving them a call about a spark control system as well, as they do advertise that the SDS works on Wankels. (but I'm not sure its beyond fuel control)

It is quite straightforwards in every regard, and highly recommended by me.

I'm going to the larger Isuzu NPR intercooler... which is the medium sized one really. I have found that with a little pedal modulation it doesn't hit too hard. I suppose if I flat out matted it coming out of every corner I'd be backwards in no time, but if you roll on it doesn't seem too bad. Granted, with a 3" exhaust the story might be different. Plus I am only running about 10psi right now... mostly because traction is no where to be found at anything more.

Looks like quite a good intercooler. 0.2psi drop at 15psi is great. Basically you need to consider the cfm the intercooler will flow, and the pressure drop at a specified pressure. I would somewhat concern yourself with volume as well. The more volume of air you have between the turbo and throttle plate, the less throttle response you are going to have. I am going to a larger intercooler, but smaller piping, to try to minimize the effects of increasing volume. (I have 2.5" and 2.25" piping, and I'm going to go with a complete 2.25" setup) Of course the smaller the pipe, the more pressure drop there will be across the piping.

I've done it to 4 or 5 cars with no problems. Just remember you can't add anything back on if you mess up!
