Thanks for confirming what I had originally thought Paul. For what it's worth, if I had the time and money I would fab up a PCV system for the car. But for the small amount I drive the car, I don't think it would be worth it right now. Also..this is not a new motor..it has about 96,000 miles on it. It's actually a 79'.

Just wondering tho...if the oil pan is open to the timing cover, and the cover is open to the head, and the head is open to the valve cover...wouldn't it still be able to vent out the breather? Or am I not remembering that the oil pan is sealed behind the cover?

Why? Everyone I've talked to said it would be ok..especially since I can't vent it back into the intake....j/w?

Just remember that if you swap over to a rack (power or manual) you have to swap crossmembers too. And yes the manual rack is kinda rare...glad my car has one already! LOL

81 turbos did not come with a 5 speed. They were only offered that year with autos. And 81 turbos had 15" snowflakes.

Ok boys, help me out here....It has to be 81 only, non cruise control, head light/turn signal switch. They only made them one year, and nobody carries them. I've checked MSA and Black Dragon, they have 79-80 and 82-83. This is a one year only part and is made even rarer by the fact that my car is a base model. So, help a brother out. Or tell me how to make a different year fit cuz I can't read wiring diagrams. Seriously, any help is appreciated since I want my dash lights back. And yes, I've checked the plugs.

Simple answer, yes, they are different. The 79 n/a has a nissan tranny, and the 82 turbo has a Borg Warner t-5.

If money was no object, the RB.

The wheel/tire combo doesn't bother me as much as the exhaust...but to each they're own. Guess he's going for the Bozuku look.

I would say the choices from easiest to most difficult would be: L28ET Chevy Ford SR The cheapest to get 300 at the wheels: Chevy Ford L28 SR.........Notice I said "cheapest" This is just my opinion so flame away:mrgreen:

Thanks for the umm, errr, kind words:). But yeah, it's carbed....wish it was itb. Looking back, I probably should have just put a small block in it, but live and learn....tho she certainly gets alot of looks now.

There's a simple explanation...I took my 81' bumpers off to put these on. These came off a two tone(black/silver) car and I didn't have the money to paint them silver like I would have liked to have done. The car will eventually get a complete repaint to all silver..but for now, it doesn't look bad imo. The wheels..yeah I love em, but I'm gonna paint them a dark grey so they match the car a bit better.
