  2. my dad and i work on our z together all the time, we have been for a few years now, it's a good thing to do with your son. buy a z for him (make him contibute a little of his savings towards it too) when he turns 14, and begin working on it from there, thats what i did with my dad.
  3. sounds like a real cool place, let me know if you find a set of watanabes... did those hks filters look like this? cool filter, i want one
  4. Well, the time has come to replace my radiator. I've dug thru the forums and read alot of information on the topic but i still have a few questions for you guys. I'm contemplating about using an aluminum Griffen Chevy style 22x19in radiator. Does anybody have one of these installed in a L powered car, if so, how does it work? Do the inlet/outlets match up? If you have any other suggestions on what type of radiator i could use i'd like to hear it. thanks!
  5. Thanks for the heads up, i've heard that Momo hubs are the same as Nardi hubs...guess not.
  6. If you guys are into video games check out Sega GT 2002 for xbox, it's got the 240Z, Fairlady 432R, Fairlady Z Racing Spec, and a Fairlady ZG. also, check out the Shutoku Battle 2/Tokyo Extreme racer 2 for Sega Dreamcast i think it's better than Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero for PS2...
  7. Autometer Pro Comp Ultra-light i believe.
  8. niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. love the blitz boost controller/turbo timer (can't tell which one is in the pic, but they both are cool.) those gauges look great also.
  9. The airdam on the wangan midnight S30 above is for a 240Z, i believe it will bolt to your 280Z, but you'll need 240Z or early 260Z turn signals. MSA sells one like the one above, i'll dig up one of my MSA mags and find a part number for you.
  10. i think it's a cool idea, i'd like to see a rotory powered s30. you would definetly have tonnnnns of extra room in the engine bay.
  11. i have a dvd burner and would make copies of dvd's for everyone if i had one to copy...
  12. hmm...stupid image station. does anyone know of a good image host that allows direct linking of photos? try copy and pasting the links if the pictures don't show up for you.
  13. I like the look of the 432R mesh style grill but i wanted to retain my 280z signal lamps and didn't feel like spending 100 bucks for one, so i decided to fabricate my own. i cut a piece of 1/4in expanded aluminum to the size of the grill opening, and made 3 aluminum L brackets to mount the grill to my 260Z bumper, 2 more bolts were used to hold the top of the grill in place by using the 280z signal housing. all in all, i'm pretty impressed with the results and like it much better than the 432R grill because it sits flush with the body. Here are some pics... Let me know what you guys think. edit, decided to upload the pics to the new HybridZ photo album, so they should all be working now.
  14. heres a pic of the rear of my z without a bumper, i smoothed out the holes with photoshop. i like no bumpers, but i prefer euro bumpers...
  15. let us know what it's like once you get it on the car.
  16. you'd be better off swapping in a turbo motor if you are looking for more power.
  17. heres a link to Scottie's site, he explains everything there. http://www.zdriver.com/members/scottiegnz/icmods.html
  18. i dug up a picture of it. i think it's a cool hood, but i woulden't put it on my car. if you like it i say go for it...that is if you can find one.
  19. i think i remember seeing this hood, the one i'm thinking about has the center bulge raised with vents on both sides, is that the one you are talking about?
  20. the dash is from an S14 Silvia/240sx/200sx. outside of Japan and America/Canada our 240sx had a 2.0 turbo motor and was marketed as the 200sx. in japan is was called the Silvia the 3 pods don't exist on the stock dash, my guess is he cut them off of an S30 dash and bonded it to the S14 dash.
