  1. Does anyone have any pictures of the konig sideways wheels on a Z? (preferably an S30 but I'll take what I can get)
  2. If I understand correctly, Royal Purple actually creates a lubrication "film" so so speak on the internals to keep the properly lubricated. A friend of mine at work was telling me that at the Royal Purple plant they have two engines, one running I believe the proper amount of conventional oil, and the other running only a few quarts of Royal Purple and the engine with Royal Purple is lubricated better.
  3. Same here, not too far from you either.
  4. Yea, I've read through both threads. I was reading rebel rodz one day at work (we're really slow lol) and it reminded me of his build. I was just trying to see if he had made any progress on it.
  5. Yea I know Max, that's where I found the link to this page. I just posted here because you can't post in someone else's thread in the "members projects" sub-forum. Thanks for posting the link for everybody else though.
  6. And I would like to concur with the "super cool dastun" statement lol.
  7. If i remember correctly the stock 350z cams have 10% more exhaust lift than the 3.0 maxima cams. Other than that, they're the same...IF I remember correctly lol.
  8. Looks great Austin. I hope to see in person soon.
  9. You can just use the 3.0 timing components on the 3.5. Look up the 4th gen maxima 3.0 to 3.5 swap on maxima.org. Its all right there. also try vqpower.com
  10. I've also done some business with 1 tuff z, he's a great guy to deal with.
  11. I got an extra steering wheel trim piece you could have to help you make the new one. If you need it, let me know
  12. Austin's car (the one with the wats) has been covered many times. Just search.
  13. Thanks for the pictures. I think for mine, I'm going to have the hood black and carry the black onto the inspection lids and cowl, and then carry the black from the inspection lids to the side body line...if that makes sense. Lol, I'm tired and I'm not sure I explained that very well.
  14. jtmny1999, nice car. That's basically what I'm going for except with the olive, and flat black.
  15. I think the two-tone helps to accentuate the lines of the car, especially in the rear quarter area.
  16. you wouldn't happen to have any pictures would you?
  17. I had an idea about an original, cool, cheap paint job. Here's a pretty quick photoshop of the basic idea. The top half would be flat black, and the bottom half would be flat olive drab. I'd use the xenon airdam up front tho (since its already on my car, and I just like it better). As for wheels i was thinking the some black sportmax 513 or some black diamond racing steelies. Thoughts? Opinions? Thanks guys
  18. If the brake clean were to get on the grease, I would clean the grease off too. Since that's basically what brake clean is designed to do. So you would probably want to reapply the grease if possible.
