  1. 413hp to wheels with no squeese and a littlle race fuel. taken it a couple of times on motor and it ran mid 7's in the 1/8th. would love to get a 6 out of it but might be a little stretch without a big shot.

  4. if your wanting simplicity to work on then go sbc. once you get past the initial install its smooth sailing
  5. i had to move my motor back but i just hit the firewall in a little.with the larger radiator 2 electric fans in front and the 4 corner cooling ,it runs about 190. wich isnt bad for hear in tx.
  6. this is the newest addition to the z to be put in next weekend.just waiting on the tranny to get back. .60 350 vortec heads big valves light bowl job, LT-1 cam with 1.6 rockers,forged flat top,scat rods,hurricane intake,proform 850 dbp,and 150 shot. should run fair in the z32 3100lbs.
  7. anyone plan on going out to the denton track this saturday night.im going to take out the z and see if it will run a time.with king of the hill running laying down some fresh rubber and it being cool outside hopefily ill get some good runs.
  8. I Used A Standard Pan,but You Do Need To Clearance The Firewall First.my Pan Is About 1/8 Off The Crossmember

  11. i agree the car is timeless looking.im not a big fan of the vg and all the computer problems soo i gutted it and went v8 and everything else american aftermarket.

  14. Just Wondering If There Is Anyone On Here In The Dfw Area That Can Do Some Header Fitment On My Z32. I Have A Set Of S10 V8 Swap Headers That Are The Closest That I Have Found To Fiting, But They Still Need To Be Cut And Modifid Alittle. Any Help Would Be Welcome.

  16. I Had Bigger Valves Installed And Springs. The Install Hight Checks Out Fine,theres No Coil Binding.
  17. heres the deal. sbc350 .060+, 12:1,vortech heads,hurricane intake,solid cam .540 lift think its .240 at 50,650 holley dbp. Now everythings great until about 5100 to 5200 then it smacks a rev limit.i thought mabye fuel pressure loss, not the case.Then i thought mabye spark,not the case.Ill go and do a pass get out check the plug and the timing mark is down next to the first thread,this was at thirty degrees timing.so i back down to 28dg,no change.I then thought mabye it need to be jetted up a little in the rear,so i go from 76 to 78,no change no matter the timing.The thing i was thinking is that i have stock manifolds on the car right now while headers are being made.What are the odds that this is the problem,hense not allowing it to breath out fast enough causing it to run lean
  18. welcome, if its done right you wont be dissapointed. i was the same way.i love the z32 body style and have always been american muscle crazy.mine took me about a year from start to finish.its well worth every knuckle buster.
  19. paint products here in texas are dirt cheap.i use sikkens and have been very satisfied with them other than there clear is a little soft.
