  5. i have ran a body shop since I was 20 years old. Also have another shop on the side that my friend and I started for just about anything and everything. Have done everything from 750cc go karts to 8 sec. drag cars. Days start about 5am and end about 1130pm mon-fri. Sat at the "other" shop working on my own crap to get it out of the way. Also graduated at 20 years old with a Electronic Engineering degree (BS). All in all i need both jobs to pay school off. Once your out they want that money....bad! Also help funding my brother for a machine shop for gunsmithing. *edit for spelling*

  7. Nice build car looks great too. Wiggins clamps are so expensive its scary.
  8. I get great prices (just a couple dollars over cost) from Precision. Thats what I get for starting group buys from the past 2.5 years with them.
  9. I personally have had Andre build me an intake for my high hp application and the intake manifold was wonderful. He did everything I asked and more. He even brough it with him from KS to ohio where there was a car show so I could come pick it up and meet him. very nice guy and very high quality piece. Disclamier: I have not used or seen their nissan/datsun intakes. I am going on the fact that they built my intake for my high hp neon a year and a half ago. It was keeping up with my gt3076 very nice. Great company and piece.
  10. how long ago was that video shot. I remember having it when i was in college in '03?
  11. This is what I do. I always do double the amount. Even if the item was $1000. I would make sure I would have it insured for $2000 so if it gets lost I can at least give the person their money back and get what I wanted out of it. Hasnt happened yet and I hope it never does. I will keep an eye out also.
  12. newbie question here. Is this the longnose or shortnose r200?
  13. This is a very big noob question but I couldnt find it when searching. Do you guys (ls1 swapped 240z's) have to change much on the wiring harness? thanks
  14. panel bond from sherwin williams. The cover the edges with seam sealer and undercoat it. Prime if need be then undercoat it.
  15. When I did the first one the owner said the 1.3 was a anchor and he wanted something reliable. He got it. Oh and its fun.
  16. guys thanks for the welcome. I am young (22) but come with a bunch of experience under my belt. Along the lines of swapping LSx into FC's and FD's. I just seem to like the 240z body better for my next project. I joined this forum for knowledge and I think, from what I see, it will be easy to get. I have learned alot so far, and I want to thank you guys for that. I hope to pick up a lot more know-how soon enough about the bodies and their weakness (if there is any). Thanks for the welcomes. ohh I love to search so I dont look like such a noob. Clark
  17. dang so its like that...im fine with it. I guess thanks for the weird welcome.
  18. actually I am all for the v8. Also just cause I have a small number of posts doesnt mean I know less than you. sorry.
