  1. Oh and if i could afford a 350z i would get one.
  2. Wasn't the weak spot on the 350z the trannies? Heard good things about the vq motor though, its the trannies that cant keep up it seems. I could be wrong.
  3. Start your own thread about whats a sports car and whats not. This thread is about the color of the car mentioned in post 1.
  4. Mechanical. I like the seats. I would do it again.
  5. 5" or 3 3/8" (I gutted the datsun guage housings and modified 3 3/8 guages into it). Ill try to take pictures.
  6. They do look cool. But something about the sweep guages I like much better.
  7. I mentioned both of those brands in my first post. I also mentioned why i wont use those two in my first post. My car has a theme. Form and function. I plan to stick to it.
  8. Recently Ive been on a mission to make my z a little more comfortable. So Im looking into ac, I put the stock seatbelt back in (harness is tucked away). But I have two questions. First: When i had the harness reworked by speartech, they removed ac wires. Is this a problem? Could I still do it myself? (Planning on combining the JCI compressor and vintage air system) Second: In the interior of my car, im starting to notice to many gauges. Its starting to look like a jet cockpit in there instead of a car. I recently drove a lexus and noticed they're guages. Basically what i want is something that would incorporate two gauges in one in each of the 3 guage areas in the dash. I can live with something like the speedo guage above though. Any ideas who would selling something like this? I saw the summit racing ones and they are ugly. Its 4" Which is the wrong size. And wouldn't match any of my other gauges (and they don't sell ones that do match if i did want to change the rest of my gauges). Anyone know if someone sells these type of guages? I am currently running auto meter pro comp gauges. Oh and i looking on autometers web site and the ones they have are ugly too.
  9. I had my harness reworked without ac? So would the wiring be a problem?
  10. As much as i love it, realistically, do you think Nissan would built something like this today? I don't know the answer. Just throwing it out there.
  11. It no longer touches. I changed my door panels to thinner ones with no padding, and modified the mounts so that the seats sit closer to the center of the car. I mounted mine on top of the stock mounts to place my higher because im short (5'9). If you mount it directly to the floor you should have plenty of head room.
  12. Look at the picture again. Its not a 4 door sedan. Its a 2 door coupe. And its an M3 with a little over 300 hp. Its a sports car. But yes the color does look much better on a z.
  13. Notice the modified zg flairs in the bottom corner? Pretty neat I think.
  14. I bought my kit from jsk and they never mentioned that. I should probably get that done though. So basically there should be .007 removed on anything rotating on the brake assembly correct?
  15. Its pretty similar but i kinda like the one on the z better.
  16. This is the sexiest color i have ever seen. whats it called?
  17. Id be interested in buying it off of you depending on how the final product will look.
  18. exactly. Dont really care about the noise. But the 40psi fuel pressure is a no no.
  19. The afr guage is from autometer. I havnt had a chance to check the injectors on that side of the sensor yet. Is there any easy way to check it without taking it off the car? My new pump is on its way.
  20. I think what is going on is that i have a couple factors at the same time. My afr gauge is reading extremely rich (even though the fuel pressure is dropping). I think one of the injectors might be stuck open. This might explain why the system sometimes doesn't hold pressure after car is off (that a complete guess). Dont think that would explain my pump issue though.
  21. Messed with it some more today. Its no longer lasting a couple hours. More like a minute or two. What I did is check the voltage while running. Its at 13.5v while running (58psi). And falls off in a matter of 20 seconds and continues to fall (yet voltage still stays at 13.5). And while pressure is falling the pump sounds like its dieing again. idk......
