WHo cares? Theres z cars in the movie. That should be enough reason to go see the movie! ("the movie is allowed to be bad if it has z cars in it") Usual rule of thumb I go by.

Yes you can. I did. Some small mods and its no problem. Also its not very hard to swap to the bumpers on a 280z. Could have been a "converted" 240z.

Those look like the ones i bought. I installed them with no problem. The drop wasn't massive either. Maybe an inch or two.

*Off topic.* You know, I noticed that the first post in this thread did not have even one bit of punctuation or capitalization at all (not to mention that nobody even thought to correct him and the post is 3 weeks old). Kinda funny. I got chewed up by all the admins when I would forgot to punctuation every once and a while and my posts never even looked half as bad as that first post (the admins also seemed to notice MY POSTS quite quickly). I guess when your an admin it makes it ok huh? That being said, this does look like a great product that would extremely helpful when towing a vehicle. (By the way this isn't an attack on the poster, just a reminder that the rules should apply to everyone!)

Yea its definitely something that should be done soon. When they do break they love to beat into the undercarriage, control arms and anything in they're way. Ask me how i know.

The slicks help, but u can do it on street tires. I have. Twice. Im also in the 300hp range. Also doing the cv conversion when the time is right.

I have had no problem with the eBay ez wiring harness. I have all three of my z cars wired using it. Its very easy to use, very cost efficient and every in all my z cars works perfect with the harness. Keep it. Its great. In fact my cousin just ordered one for his 240sx with an ls1 motor. Dont know why he needs it but Im going over to help him tommrow. EDIT: The build is awesome btw. Glad some progress is getting done. Cant go wrong with an ls. You wont be disappointed.

Im not really worried about the rust to much. Im just doing it to check straightness of the hub. Planning on getting it nickel plated after machining. That should get rid of the rust during the process.

Look at the bright side. At least you could remove your fender and replace it easily. I couldn't exactly do that.

Yea I know this thread is old but did you end up machining them? Im in the same spot right now and also want to check the hubs for straightness. If you did how much should they be machined? .010?
