thanks guys. its getting there. i miss my car already....i cant NOT drive it. anywho the engine bay will be painted black. I think i will shoot it in a few weeks. I dont know yet. School stuff is first on my list. School gets out in a week for me. So after that i should be able to knock it out. Well see.

i think lambo doors look good if they match the cars "look". About the invisible door i think thats pretty slick but i wonder if it changes how safe the car is in the case of a side impact.

thanks. Motor is in (mock up). I ordered some parts im waiting on. Once they;re here and i see how everything is going to go ima take the motor back out and paint the engine bay. i cant wait...:fmad:

when you used these parts, which pedal assembly did you use? did you stick with the datsun assembly? if you used something else what did you have to modify to make it work?

yea its taking longer than expected but he should have them soon. dont want to rush into stuff like this (quality will suffer, and people wont get what they order blah blah blah). you know how it goes. Whens hes ready you guys will be the first to know.

no it hasnt. He is making a few more molds so that he can make more of them faster. Said he should have the first batch soon. dont worry. Ill keep u guys posted. Like i said. this takes time.

thanks. i just started last weekend. Got most of the stuff i need. just little stuff (which are going to kill me) but i do have a budget and so far im doing ok with plenty of room. guess how much i picked up the motor and the t56 and the rear end (not going to use it but got it anyway)? btw its an 2002 ls1 with everything minus the harness. im going to go cut the ears off the old tranny mount and do a mock up today, but i will be back on later. maybe ill make a thread about the swap today.

and since this thread has been revived again heres the car in its current state.

yea for some reason its darker at times. but its weird cause in the sun its not there. I think it has to do with the shadows as well. the whole car was painted at one time ( i couldnt have painted the fenders off the car cause its blended in).
