i know the person who makes those vents. same person who is making me the carbon fiber rear taillight panels. Steve. He just made a batch of about 20 vents this week. said that he would have them on ebay. Im sure i can convince him to sell straight to the hybridz crew if enough want it.

also what would help is if the titles of threads were more relevant. Not something like "Look at my new engine" ir could be something like "just finished my ______ swap". THat way when people do search they get more relevant searches.

yes it will bolt up and use the existing 240z clips.

ok i have an idea how many people want it. so ill let you guys know in a few weeks (4-5 probably) when he has enough out to sell.

went to visit Steve today and here are some more pictures. There was a few people asking about being able to mod other lights in and he said that he would be able to give you an "uncut" version like the pic below for you to mod as you please. Also i had a person send me a pm about weight. the weight savings are very minimal. they are lighter but if you are doing this for weight savings, your time is better spent else where. it may save you ounces but this is mostly done for cosmetics only. btw Sergio you will need to do some modifying to your rear panel to get these to fit like i had to do since you have a 280z. Heres the panels before they are cut. Heres the way the panel could be sent out if you want to put ur own taillights in. Steve's orange 240z with 4" circle lights next to the cf panel (cf was a little dirty but its flawless). Possible to mod in im sure. but people need to be aware this is still in the pre-production stage. these panels will probably become available in a few weeks still. I will keep you guys updated thou!!!

drill your own mounting holes where the trunk closes and cut the area in between the reverse light and brake lights on body of the 280z. Theres more too it but thats the just of it.

that is an option. What he was telling me was that he could leave the inserts (where the tail light goes in) so that people can mod them as they please or he can cut them, but yes either way he can do it. we'll see how soon he can get these things going.

haha yea i finally got it done. My freand is the one making them (he also has hood vents). they will probobly be near the $150-200 area. Expensive but the quality is show. Its still in the pre-production stage but he will get on making them asap. THey will use the existing 240z clips and all. Also they look like a one piece but they are not. got alot of people asking me if they were at the show. Ill keep u guys updated as he makes them.

Just wanted to post pics of my taillight panels. My car is a 280 as most know but i converted over my taillights to a 240. My freand is going to be making these panels so i just wanted to know what people think of them. this is a pre -production panel. It will be held using the original clips. If you have a 280 (like me) u will have to do some mods. more pics soon. opinions welcome. Ill take some better pics later.
