  1. Thanks man. Honestly I am getting tired of working on it. Cost to how much I drive it is not in my favor. Really not feeling it now. It's a wiring specialty wire harness. Works wonderfully.
  2. Welp. Went to go drive it. Tires rubbed to much (still need rear lower control arms, and front tension) raised it up today.also got wheel spacers. Fitment is a+ in my book now. Tried to drive it to work...quickly got shut down by my water pump leaking! Arg! Lol. So I guess I will be doing timing belt, tensioner, and a 2jzgte water pump. Sooooo close!
  3. Here is my waste gate clearance. Still thinking of a way to run a dump pipe, and where to. Anyone doing 1jzgte, make sure to use this manifold! I tried 3 different manifold designs. Only know obe brand for sure. Driftmotion, doesn't clear with out modification. As you see, you need the manifolds that have the waste gate pointing down, so you can gain access for the turbo down pipe to clear. Then my engine mount is supper close to the drain fitting. Had to use a 1/2 to 10an 90degree to clear it! It's all plumbed up and running, and still waiting on supply for the down pipe. Also ordered wheel spacers to get a slightly better wheel fitment. Here is the pipe I had a blow off valve welded on to...also added a 45 coupler. Soon after its running well, I am taking it in for 1 piece piping, with vband as couplers. Thanks!
  4. Hell ya! This is the swap I was going to do rather then my 1jz. Any jz is a good jz. Now you too can do this knee slap'r joke. "What do you get when you fix a rb26dett oil problems, crank problems, and wiring problems?" "....and JZ series!" Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
  5. Still waiting for one fitting and a downpipe.
  6. That is the ONLY MANIFOLD that will bolt on. All the rest I tried hit the waste gate in weird spots. This one barely clears the s30 subframe. It sets about 1/4 to 1/2 in away from subframe ! Well. Next will be running the oil return, making a cold pipe, and downpipe installation.
  7. Eh. Sold it for whatever someone would give me. Here is an update (waiting for downpipe) Couldn't find a oil plug..so I welded up this fitting to plug it. Lol That's all for now.
  8. And here goes single! Oh, and my daily vs race car Thanks. *I have X2 good 1jzgte turbos for sale now.
  9. Here is pics of the turbo from the seller. Garrett gt40, tial 38mm, eBay manifold. Lines and hardware! Not bad for what I paid for it. I am tired of missing with the twins. Thanks
  10. I will measure mine for you. I just used X2 90degree couplers on the ends. Fits perfectly l. I remember it was difficult to find.
  11. Yes. I plan on buying a lip. Not sure of what one as of right now. Also a wing as well, once again, not sure yet. I do plan to shave up the rear roll pan very soon. BUT I bought a Garrett gt40 turbo, manifold, tial wastegate, lines, couplers, and gaskets! I was thinking on running a side exit exhaust of the lower fender. Along with a wastegate exit as well.
  12. I used cxracing. I just cut the own mount plates off the subframe, relocated them back where I wanted engine. Very simple. He is very right on the bolts. I currently have what I had in my garage thrown in. I need to run to ace hardware. As far as mounting to frame rail. I seen that go bad. Very bad.
  13. So. I found turbos local for $80. I bought them and threw them on. Now my manifold gasket blew out...awesome. car keeps nagging me to go single. I bought this sr 240, to sell it for a turbo kit. =)
  14. Well. Looks like it's going single... Found where the smoke is coming from. For once I am glad I had a exhaust leak...it was literally spraying oil out.
  15. I decided against the g nose. I am trying to install my 240z bumper on my 280z. It looks like I will have to fab brackets? Rather then use the 240z oem brackets...they don't line up with anything.
  16. I am currently researching a G nose front. We will see.
  17. The flares were ordered of rhd japan. Extra wide. =)
  18. It's not all a good story. Right now I have smoke after turning car off and setting. I start it, and smoke pretty good for about 30 mins. For a week solid I was fixing leaks and misc small stuff I just forgot to do. Haha.
  19. They fit perfect. Weld them all the way down, leave a 1/8th gap to weld. That way they can go low. As my car sets in pictures, it can go lower about another 2inch. The 4k/5k spring rates ride on the soft side, feels a little stiffer then stock. I ride with 3 clicks from full soft. I took this car to my wedding! Yeah! It made
  20. I have this harness and it works wonderful. Very surprised on how easy it was to install on my 280z!
