  2. hey could you define squid for me please. I have a feeling its somewhat like the ricer mentality but i duno,
  3. wow i definately thought there was a small block in there. Im impressed.
  4. ive never seen this rain x stuff, but wouldnt it work to rig it up in a windshield squirter system. I duno just a thought.
  5. thanks for the replies and help. I guess i just gotta keep lookin. Hmmm, 280's huh. I really like the lights of the 240 more but i guess i could always change that. thanks.
  6. curved taillights would be hard to fabricate on a z rear end. they look nice though.
  7. monkeys, i dont really have 4-4.5 k to spend on a z, but that one sounds pretty sweet. Thats everything i want to do with my z short of an engine swap. Man i need some money. Maybe i can get a loan...
  8. I live in new jersey, and it seems to be impossible to buy a Z anywhere near jersey that hasnt been completely restored and is near $10k. I just want a decent running, rust free Z and it is killing me to find one. All of the ones i have seen have seriously rusty frame rails, and after seeing pete p's work I dont think i have 13 years to get a car running. I intend to have this car for my daily driver when i go to college but I cannot my hands on one. Right now I am left with a few options, ship one from cali or somewhere near, fly to cali and drive it back( duno if I'd wanna drive a car that old that i havent worked on, 3 thousand miles), or pay alot for a nice one around here. If any of you guys have suggestions, please tell me. I am dying here, i went to a Z show and saw really beautiful ones and i cant get one grr thanks for listening and for your help.
  9. wow that is so incredibly cool, maybe it could use a litte bodywork for aerodynamics but damn thats great. One thing i always wanted to do is build a F1 type car and liscence it as a kit car. that would be great.
  10. wow, how the monkeys do you do that. thats scary, I think im gonna have nightmares.
  11. Black looks so bad-ass on a Z, especially with 240 bumpers and an airdam. I recently went to the NjZclub meet and there was this black 240, man o man that was beautiful. I dont care if its hard to keep clean it was amazing. It had silver watanabe wheels, whoowhee that was nice.
  12. or you could get square fogs, and put the grill infront of them so that they only show when they're on. That would be kinda sweet.
  13. ha, I didnt even notice that i did that. In case your wondering, i decieded to stop cursing so to replace curses i started saying monkeys. I didnt realize that i was typing it too. thats pretty funy
  14. also i believe that lt5s are heavy as monkeys. i cant remember the exact number but its something scary, that would definately upset the balance of the car.
  15. It precedes the z by a couple of years so the Z is the lookalike. Also they share many of the same lines. the side profile is almost identical.
  16. i remember reading about some valveless heads, it was as if the cam had holes in it, and the cam was the valve. I duno its hard to explain. But i remember they made 500hp from an otherwise stock ford crownvic engine, it also revved to 12k i think.
  17. if you could make a whole tray under there that was smooth and curved upward you could make some downforce
  18. just saw this somewhere, they are lights from the japanese toyota chaser.
  19. at last. That is the car that inspired me to make a v8z. his video was sick.
  20. at last. That is the car that inspired me to make a v8z. his video was sick.
  21. i dont have my z yet so I'd thought I'd pass this on. It says its from an 82 turbo, i know they didnt come with em but he says its an lsd. His buy it now price is 120. r200 lsd happy bidding, I hope i helped someone out.
  22. the guys in the f40 and f50 werent pushing it at all. According to legend the f50 gt can spin its tires at 150 so he wasnt even gunning it on the straights. He wasnt about to make a mistake because there are NO spare parts for it. none at all. also the 355 driver races a 400hp nsx and an s2000 and does pretty well.
  23. i found myself asking the same question, but I will probably not e drag racing, if i do any racing it will be road racing, where a manual is definately the better choice. So im basically asking if it is possible to bolt up a t56 up to a 4.8t
  24. I saw this video on nsxfiles.com a little while ago and thought I would share it with you guys. The camera is in the f355 and they are at california speedway. The f40 and F50 are just fooling around with eachother and the guy in the 355 is driving his hardest trying to keep up. Listen to the f50gt's engine, AMAZING. video here are some specs on the f50 gt, 750 HP at 10,500 RPMs Sequential gear box Carbon Fiber chassis. 1800 lbs (without water and oil, 2000 lbs with) Carbon rotors 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds 235 MPH top speed There are only 3 in existance, the one in this video was the first made, with the intention of competing in Lemans, but never did. And two others were made from its spare parts. hope you enjoy! Â
