  1. The front airdam broke. It is duct taped over the crack right now till I save up enough for my new front fascia. Ghetto, but it works. We zip tied it for the long drive also, just in case. I cut it off when we got home. I love it so far. I need to get the test pipes tightened a bit, and need to replace some sensors. It's quick though, and a smooth ride.
  2. I started looking for a Z32 about 4 years ago. At first I wanted an N/A. After a year and a half of searching, I somehow came along my Porsche 944 and decided to get it due to the fairly decent deal. I had that car for about a year and a half or so, while in the meantime I bought a 240z with an L26 in it. Bought an L28et to drop in (which is now for sale) but ended up selling the car instead due largely to repairs needed on the rear panels. I sold my 944 to get some more money to buy a Z. At first I wanted a turbo s30 and was looking for a long time, but the 300zx always lingered in my head. I couldn't escape it. So, I decided to cure my obsession and buy a Twin Turbo. After looking for a while, and a couple dissapointing roadtrips, I came across a 1991 Pearl White that I ended up buying. I just got the Z back on Sunday, and haven't really had a proper photoshoot yet, but here are some pics. The car has 111k and the rebuilt engine only has 6k on it. Sorry about the poor quality, cell phone pics Pics from the Previous Owner
  3. I can imagine getting in the shower and rubbing chocolate all over yourself, them being like "WTF!?" haha. That's a funnier picture to me then eating soap.
  4. Oh, I see what you mean. Keep more pressure on the front wheels. Thanks for explaining Dragonfly.
  5. I don't see the point of a wheelie bar in the back on a Front wheel drive car......
  6. You'd think that they'd stay away from enthusiast's or cars with some kind of an educated following.
  7. It seems weird that it has 600+whp and only runs 11's. You'd think it'd be a bit quicker than that. Don't get me wrong. That's fast. http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/cto/840008530.html
  8. Nice! I always wondered what your car would do in the quarter. I'm sure you can get into the 11's with a good launch. May want to try feathering the clutch instead of dropping it. Not sure if you were bogging or spinning. Take it on some backroads and practice. Or just go to the track more often!
  9. Nice. Can't wait. More pics expected soon. How's the interior? Run alright?
  10. NICE! Paint looks good. How much did you pick it up for? Any plans for it?
  11. If I was incredibly rich, I'd offer you an amount you couldn't deny......but I'm not. haha
  12. I'm not saying I'm going to buy the car. I just wanted some info on it.
  13. It's not that I change my mind on cars, it's more that I keep my options open and keep researching them. When I find the car I know I want, I'll get it.
  14. I have been searching and haven't been able to find any specs on the R32 Skyline GTS-T. Does anybody know what their stock 0-60 and1/4 mile times are? Thanks
  15. I was looking at a Mopar Powered 240z. I was strongly considering buying it just to turn around and sell it again.
  16. I don't know about loud and hot. My cousin's has never really been that loud to drive in and doesn't get too hot. They are definitely small though.
  17. Yeah, I know. For those of you who knew, the Mopar Z fell through. Had some issues I didn't want to really deal with. Exhaust blowing oil and such. And yes, I do change my mind quite a bit. It doesn't help that there are hardly ANY decent Z's for sale in the area. I've been looking for like a year now. I've had one pop up that I really liked but when I called that night (second day it was posted) It was sold. Grrrrr.
  18. My cousin has a 1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo that is crazy fast. I'm kinda thinking about buying it. I know with about 320whp, they are at the low 5 0-60 mark, and can get into 4's at about that much power also. I'd need to do some repairs and such to his, so I could probably get it for fairly cheap. I was just wondering if anyone here had any experiance with the MR2's and what people thought of them in general. Thanks
  19. I say fairlady emblems are ok because it is simply another name for the car. It isn't a false badge. The hemi badges are ok in my opinion also. He has a Hemi in it, it's ok to hint whats lurking inside. I know HybridZ'ers that have Chevy stickers or such on their windows, but we don't completely bash for rice because they are powered by a Chevy. If the sticker was there and they still had the inline, that'd be a different story. Basically I think that if they're true then they aren't rice. Of course, they're will always be exceptions.
  20. Challenger, your car is looking awesome! Now I definitely love that color.
  21. OMFG. That is by far the funniest thing I've seen in a long LONG time. I literally LOL'd. A lot. THANK YOU.
  22. I am looking for a manual S30 Z with an L28e or L28et, hopefully rebuilt. I'd prefer the turbo, but either will work. I'd like to find a car with very minimal rust. A decent interior would be a plus also, of course. If you have any early Z car with the 2.8L, please shoot me a PM. I'd like to find one close to me, but I'm willing to travel a bit. I'm located in Boise, ID. I have cash and my price range is anything under about 5k. Thanks
  23. From what I've found, correct me if this is wrong, if you put the P90 head on an NA block, It will lower the compression quite a bit and make it safer to run better boost.
