  1. Back in the day, we just used a section of old route 66, back behind the Purina. And yes they get cold winters in Flagstaff.
  2. Just cause they spent 10K doesn't me they got 10K worth of parts and labor.
  3. The ones I have seen that style typically have center caps that say Prime. They have been around for awhile.
  4. John Washington is the man behind Reaction Research. Stand up guy and good to deal with. Shoot him an email, I am sure he will get back to you.
  5. Chuck, several people have done these swaps right here in the same valley you live in, not to mention in the local club (DZA)! http://desertzassociation.com/membersrides/carlo/index.shtml http://desertzassociation.com/membersrides/Robert/75280/index.shtml and a few more that I don't have pafe links to.
  6. I just received this message from Vinh, Hi Robert, Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I afraid I have to turn you down on this deal because someone else is making me a higher offer then my asking price and he is going to reproduce the kit to offer to the Z community also. Strange since I offered him his exact asking price, but as I said before it is Vinh's to do with as he pleases. Hopefully his other supplier will be able to meet your needs.
  7. This is exactly why a lot of us have "extra" parts. If you can't find any new I have some used ones.
  8. Look for the camaro lights that were not the the flip up type. If you can find a parts car grab all four lights and the housing and fabricate the whole thing. I have a picture of this setup somewhere and will post it here if I find it.
  9. I have been told headlights need to be a minimum of at least 18" from the ground. I am not sure it that measurement is to the center of the light or to the lower edge. My lights were designated as "off road use only" but you could use a steet legal light and give it a try. I serioulsy doubt it would be an issue to most law enforcement is they were aimed properly.
  10. Reminds me of the times I have had to email screen shots to fellow users to "display" a point. Then I get a call saying they are clicking where I showed them and nothing is happening. Upon arrival I learn they are clicking on the image in the email.
  11. after you said you painted and all, but... The two holed thing on the firewall needs to be moved back.
  12. LOL, something like a Corvette, then mod the body to look like a Z. Just saying it sounds like an extreme amount of work.
  13. Almost anything is possible. It sounds like you might want to start with a wider car though.
  14. Welcome to one of the initiation steps of owning a Z car. Many have tried various methods, some work some don't. You might want to get familiar with Blue's tech tips too. http://atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/
  15. 70-78 all the same. The only difference are the vents or no vents on the hood. And what boost controler did you have, so we won't buy one.
  16. I am still saving up for a set of those for one of my cars. They have been very popular around SEMA and road race cars for quite some time.
  17. sorry to hear about the damage though.
  18. Probably the same one just molded in. http://desertzassociation.com/membersrides/carlo/picpage/page1.htm
  19. I am still trying to get the original part here, once that happens it will be a go.
  20. The picture shows them upside down compared to how I installed mine.
  21. I am looking for any pictures that might give me some ideas of where to mount an oil cooler. I have a 75 280 with and 81 turbo engine along with a intercooler mounted in front of the radiator, which hasn't left much room. What have you guys done and would be interested in seeing pictures.
