  1. as a parts car it might be worth $100, mostly for the wheels, as a car to "fix" keep looking.
  2. Not sure what the exchange rate is but that is a $100 car (if that) here in Arizona.
  3. Jeff, Make sure the "L" shaped hood bumpers are in place along the sides when working on the fit. Once that is done you can remove them for painting and reinstall them after paint. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me directly at 280zone@cox.net
  4. You guys take this stuff serious! Looks amazing and shows some seious creativity and talent. When you get it done shoot somepicture with a less distractive background and post them up. We could have an online costume contest!
  5. Really wants a nice set, I have some 75-78 euro tails brand new in the box.
  6. and a large crack in fiberglasss isn't going to cost a whole lot more to fix than a small crack in fiberglass. The re prep and painting is going to to be the bigger cost and to do it right you will be repainting the whole part.
  7. Good eye, I never noticed the roof antenna didn't show up in the side picture. Britghtness and saturation might have been tweaked but I didn't make the antenna disappear intentionally.
  8. I'd start with your local z car club, then just ahnging out here watching the location identifier in peoples avatar. The prblem with the frapper is people come and go, and don't thinnk to update it. We can't even get people to put in their correct location when signing up.
  9. Since you are in Tucson, you aren't quite close enough to loan tools to. First thing i would do is confirm fuel pressure (consult manual) and fuel flow. Thena good spark at all plugs. Take the plugs out and see if they look rich or lean.
  10. Could be fuel pump, could be plugged filters of fuel line, corroded electric connectors. vacuum leak. Have you done anything to it recently that caused this problem to start? Where in AZ are you? There are a lot of books for "car stuff", the best book you can start with is a Datsun service manual for your specific car.
  11. They look just like some old school JDM wheels I have collecting dust right now.
  12. I'll send you some more detailed instructions. However, my hoods are designed to allow you to drill through the hinge tabs, (they are solid fibeglass tabs). For adjustment you can enlarge the holes and add a large washer. Hopefully this will make more sense when you get the email.
  13. The green stuff will most liely need to be scrapped off using a small knife, very tedious. I also doubt Napa can rebuild your injectors for that price but if i am wrong let me know. I also have a Datsun/Nissan ECCS testing device I can plug into your ECU and determine what might be wrong. You are also right that it will be multiple little things before teh big things.
  14. 1 fast Z is a good guy to deal with, if you need any "extra" parts or a new interior let me know I am liquidating a lot of 280Z parts.
  15. Obviously a square or rectangular enclosure will be easier to fabricate but it seems a round enclusure would benefit air flow. I also like the idea of the K&N filter air cleaner lid.
  16. Looks like you are already getting a shine! Keep us posted how it turns out.
  17. Welcome aboard, you should be able to find plenty of interesting news, pictures and vehicles around this place
  18. I know of at least two, but am having a hard time contacting you.
  19. Your best bet is to look to your local Z car clubs. Talk to many in the club and find out who has been treated right and go from there. Your next step should be to buy a service manual and start learning, otherwise you are going to emptying you wallet everytime you turn around (these cars are getting old!)
  20. I'll be there again, but are they opening it up to the public?
  21. I would estimate shipping to be $30-$40.
  22. I have two "etras" from 77/78 cars with the console lids. If you are interested 280zone@cox.net
  23. feel free to contact me directly. 280zone@cox.net
