  1. I've been running with the throttle body holes plugged up and I ran the "vapor/steam" line to my reservoir to bleed out the air bubbles etc the same as the stock setup did. My mod was easy because I am using the stock radiator reservoir.
  2. Great time. Good to hear from another ZX'er out there.
  3. I'm in for one, or more.

  7. Sorry about that guys, my site is giving me some problems... I fixed the link now. Here's the new one http://68.110.112.229:4898/ezcontents/contentimage/paint/index.html
  8. Finally got some new paint on the zx. Been working on the car between work and school for more than a week with the help of my uncle and employee's. Reverse hood scoops/vents were made by a local metal fabrication shop then welded to the hood. Yes they are functional! Of course! New bumper from msa is also going on. Paint is Nissan K-11 "smoke effect". See the online photo album http://68.110.112.229:4898/ezcontents/contentimage/paint/index.html

  12. Well I just got back from my school track day at speedworld. I only got two runs in all day due to a 22 year old fusible link giving up the ghost. What was even worse was that it happened just before getting on the track for the beginning of bracket racing. Got to the front and my windows wouldn't roll up! Nooooooo. I was disqualified. The other two earlier runs I was having tranny problems. First run the tranny would take forever to shift into 3rd. 1st to 2nd was nice and firm.. then third would take forever after manual shifting and I hit the 5500 rev limiter. Then I had to let off... wait then it would shift ever so slowly and not firm at all. Here's a picture of my launch and then time slip. I know this car has to be in the high 14's at least because I got off the gas for a while for it to shift to 3rd. What do you all think of the 60 ft times? I don't really know much about reading these time slips. I know my reaction time was horrible. My Second run was horrible. At the start I sat there and smoked the right rear tire and got a 3.522 60ft time then it wouldn't shift again and I ended up with a 18.589 @ 77.493mph. My next class is transmissions and it starts on Monday. Time to fix the 4L60e tranny now.

  15. Try looking for a audio recorder from download.com - they have alot of freeware. I use "audio recorder for free" http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?tag=srch&nid=1&qt=audio+recorder+for+free&tg=dl-20 which allows one to record any sound that plays out of your computers speakers - good for streaming music like from a internet radio station or any other sound you can hear coming from your computers speakers that you want to save to your hard drive.
  16. Very cool. Excellent workmanship..
  17. Dr. Hunt on patrol.... open season eh?
  18. That was sweet... Here's the direct link to the video for all those who want to keep a copy of it. http://x300.putfile.com/videos/b6-28201131380.wmv
  19. I kinda had a different problem. The pilot size was right but the bolt holes didn't quite line up right. I had a machine shop fix it no problem. Same shop that cut and balanced my driveshaft fixed it with no extra charge. Gotta love those machine shops.
  20. and to think that picture probably had to pass through some sort of corporate office meeting or approval of some sort.
