  1. What exhaust manifold are you running?
  2. I myself have been on a hunt for a bracket that retains the compressor but have not had any luck finding one.
  3. Are you also planning on making an external pump bracket?
  4. Is it stainless or mild steel? Getting an answer from anyone who sells their products is next to impossible.
  5. How did you end up mounting it? Did you just weld tabs on each side? or something different?
  6. Which "brand" of freddy manifold did you get?
  7. I guess I might need to say that I'm looking for a twin disc.
  8. I'm in the market for a clutch for my build but am having a hard time figuring out which clutch I need for my combo. Most of the dealers cant give me a straight answer other than "it should work" as long as it is the same type (push or pull) What I don't understand is that the RB26 clutches are all different part numbers than the RB25's. After searching, it seems like most people here are using Z32 transmissions. I'm using a RB25det trans. Do I need an RB26 clutch or an RB25 clutch?
  9. I don't remember but I doubt it makes any difference. And no, no heat. I put a little blue loctite on it before I put it in its new hole. Just to seal it and prevent any oil leaks.
  10. The last Rb25 I modified for use as RWD had a second hole for the dipstick with a plug in it in the back of the block. I simply used a punch and hammer and knocked it out, then placed it in the hole where the dipstick was and relocated the dipstick to the rear of the block
  11. I never bothered to make any more of these. When I first put them on here a lot of people showed interested, then after me spending time with the machinist, ironing out all the little problems, making my final prototype (which is installed on my car now) no one wanted them anymore. For me to do 3 sets, I'd loose money. 5 sets, break even maybe. So I don't see it as being worth the time/money I have invested. I got my set and that was all I was after. Thanks to everyone who showed interest though.
  12. Your mounts kinda do the same thing as mine. They're all twisted. They don't look like they will last very long like that.
  13. Does anyone have a picture of their mounts installed? I'm having a hell of a time getting everything lined up. Just looking for some visual reference to help me out.
  14. What downpipe are people using when installing their RB26? I know McKinney makes one, but its mild steel. I'm looking for a stainless one.
  15. Is there anyone running an external belt driven oil pump? If so, who's kit are you using and how do you like it.
  16. Its a parking brake. Its not meant for anything else.
  17. I am going to talk to the machinist about making some more of these brackets. They use the Wilwood Dynalite caliper and the MC4 parking brake caliper with a 12.2 inch 0.81 thick rotor The ebrake cable I used was a Lokar cable (EC-80WU) meant for those wilwood calipers. I will likely send the brackets out with a bunch of shims that will allow you to shim the bracket out for various different brake setups (AZC or JSK)
  18. Looking for one rear rotor hat, standard dimensions. I dont care what condition its in.
  19. If anyone is actually interested in purchasing them, I can sell them for $300 US plus $20 shipping in Canada or US. That price is for both left and right brackets. My machinist will make them but I require a minimum order of 5 people (10 parts).
  20. According to Z Fire, the AZC hats have a 24mm backspace/offset which is pretty close to my JSK hats. It uses a Lokar universal ebrake cable also, which ended up being much cheaper than a custom cable. My stock/aftermarket ebrake cable reaches but I was unable to find the correct size Eclip to clip the cable into the caliper.
  21. I started this project a few months ago after trying to buy a set of Woza's brackets, but since he stopped making them I had to do it myself. Started off making the steel brackets to use the wilwood mechanical spot calipers (120-2280,2281) I made the brackets and mocked everything up. I was unable to figure out a way to stop the calipers from rattling (I hate rattles) so I scrapped that idea and decided to make a new set using wilwood's new MC4 mechanical parking brake calipers. Made from 6061 aluminum, they are much lighter than my original steel design. My brake hats are JSK hats which have a 24.5mm offset so the brackets should work with other kits that run the same offset. I made the first set for myself, and am happy with the way they turned out. Would anyone else be interested in a set?
