    I'm looking to replace all of my brake hard lines on my early model 260z. Can someone tell me if all s30z's have the same brake hard lines? Any differences in the years? I'm looking to buy pre-bent lines so its important for me to know. Thanks!

    I was wondering what is the purpose of the blocking plates that goes over the holes where the rear bumper brackets? Exhaust fumes?

    Are you still looking for fender mirrors? I have 6 sets left that I bought from Japan a few years back. $250 shipped. You will not find it any cheaper than this. They are the chrome ones. Let meknow

    i'm trying to take out the heater control panel off my 260z, and to do that i need to remove the heater control knobs... I tugged on it but it seems pretty tight. I had a 240z before and i know for those, you had to undo tiny screws before they slip right off... The ones for my 260z do not have these? I'd rather not break these off. Any tips? Thanks

    for security, you should get the removable quick release steering hub... No thief is going to steal your car if it doesn't have a steering wheel... unless they havea flatbed

    thanks for the replies! Got another question tho, what do you mean by manual throttle lever? Is it something like a hand operated throttle pedal?

    ok, sounds like i have a zx tranny too. My Shifter location does sit too forward. Fortunately, looks like the previous owner was crafty, and he modified the shifter so that no cutting or trimming was needed.

    Hi, I have a 1971 240z with a 5 speed swapped in. On a stock 240z with a 4 speed, does the shifter lever sit in the middle of the cut-out or does it sit like the one i have (pic below)? Anybody have an idea what transmission i have? I have a l28 from a 82 zx.

    hi, I'm still fairly new to these cars. I have some questions regarding the shifter console. I understand the lever is the choke lever, and the toggle switch is for the rear defrost. What about that button that sits next to the defrost switch? It looks something like a hazard switch. And what is the blank slot for by the choke lever? Thanks.

    hi, I'm looking to swap a 3.9 r200 diff in my 240z. I have an opportunity to take a diff out of an 1979 280zx with a 5 speed transmission. I've done some research on the web and i am really confused. Some websites tell me that the '79 has a 3.7 ratio. others tell me its a 3.9. Can someone tell me the straight facts? The diff i'm looking at is a canadian model 280zx. Thanks for your help

    hi, I currently own a '71 240z with a l28 from a '82 280zx. Now, i was in the process of installing the front swaybar from suspension techniques, BUT i ran into clearance issues. The swaybar hits the front lower bolt going into the oil pump. I was just wondering if anyone ever came across this problem? If so, what are some solutions for this? thanks
