  1. Ive been in contact with Matt at DIY. He is going to inspect it under warranty. But while it is at his shop, I do have another ms2 v3.0 with the 2.888 code that will be used with my brothers car. He has been kind enough to try and let me tune on that ecu, then just burn the tune to the other ecu. back to the drawing board.
  2. now im having firmware issues yet again. but now i cant get any firmware to work. im stumped with this thing.
  3. thats just amazing.. I love the fuel lines. now it just needs to be polished.... j/k
  4. i think that would look good.. much thinner though.. possibly out of fiberglass..
  5. ok got the firmware problem all worked out.. now to get this tune figgured out..
  6. no it wont connect to port checker.. just try and reload the firmware... ok ill give that a shot..
  7. now i dont understand this.. now my ecu wont connect to megatune, and when i turn on the key it primes the pump for 1 second then turns off and then turns on and turns off.. and just repeats.. idk what i messed with.. but maybe i broke it?
  8. Ok, well I have made the changes you all have suggested. Now the car wont even idle.. I have to give it about 3-5% throttle to keep it idling, and even then its popping and back firing like mad.. But i was able to get a matched afr reading from both log works and megatune. although my in car gauge is still blinking 7.4. I had to change the voltage outputs in the LM Programer. I know output 1 is for the gauge (yellow wire), and the 2nd output is for WB/MS (brown wire). as for output 1, i am unsure what the voltage outputs should be, but the 2nd output is setup up 1volt=10 afr, and 2volt=20afr. when it is running the afr's are in the low 11's. which i know is very very rich. here is another copy of the updated tune with the corrections i was talking about. megasquirt200906121347.zip
  9. Ok well ive finally gotten my car to the point of being able to tune it. A little about the car. It is a 280zx, with a 81 intercooled turbo motor. using a 240sx TPS, GM IAT & CLT. still using the factory turbo injectors and n/a pump. Im using a ford edis igniton system. Im using a LC-1 for tuning. MSII v3.57, 2.888 firmware. With this tune I have uploaded the car will sit and idle, though really unsteady will hold an idle. As soon as I touch the gas pedal it wants to sputter die and back fire. Regarding the LC-1, I have a guage installed in the car, but it will only blink 7.4 afr. and my gauge in megatune is showing 20 afr. Every time it back fires or sputters the afrs drop to about 13.4 but shoot right back up. all while the gauge on my dash is just blinking. I have to check the out puts to verify I have them set right. Ive been trying to make some sort of a data log, but as I said, I cant even put the engine under a load with out it dieing. Any help is greatly appreciated! megasquirt200906092324.zip
  10. I have a 95 540i with a bad auto trans that I picked up with an ls1 in mind. but now im leaning to a rb series swap..
  11. its a delsol front bumper.. god is that car just awful! wow..
  12. so the grey wire and one of the 2 white wires have to go to ground. ok im going to go try that right now. thanks
  13. im still having issues.. tried all 3 sensors with no luck.
  14. well I finally got it running yesterday. But im not getting any O2 sensor voltage. I have 3 different ford 4 wire o2 sensors. bosch 88926A0 (from 99 mustang gt) denso 25930 (from 99 mustang gt) ford f5mf-9f472-b2b (from late 90's taurus) Ive looked though the mega manual and ive found other part numbers, but I was courious if anyone had used a 4wire ford sensor. the wiring ive found was the 2 white wires are for the heater circuits. both go to 12v+ the grey wire is the sensor ground and the black wire is the signal wire to the MSII. I can find all the info in the world about a wideband setup, but very little on narrow band o2's. any help would be greatly appreciated.
  15. Ok I have a l28et. the motor is all stock becides the 240sx tb, a fmic, and now the megasquirt2. Im also running EDIS 6 ignition. im using the stock turbo 270 cc injectors. Im using a 4 wire o2 sensor. I have spark, I have fuel psi, and my injectors are firing. In megatune the cranking speed wont go past 103 rpm. im sure thats where my problem lay. but the engine is cranking much faster than that. ive been through the sticky. but many of the screen shots are older and dont look the same. would some one mind looking at my tune and giving me some pointers, or possibly have a base tune I could work off of. Im using the 2.888 code. much appreciated unless some on can host this, this is what I could figgure out http://www.filehosting.org/file/details/23021/megasquirt041509.msq
  16. ive had 80 n/a zx, another 80 n/a zx, 81 zxt, and now i just picked up a 74 260z... so i currently have 3 in my drive way.. not to mention the 240sx's that i have bouncing around here.. or the bmw for that matter.. damn to many flipping cars!
  17. i wouldnt mind one of those chargers...
  18. well it has a shelby logo on it.. on im guessing some sort of a mustang?
  19. one thing that has been stopping me from upgrading injectors is that im unsure if i have to have the injector ports on my manifold enlarged. or can I just use a smaller o-ring and use a 14mm injector? that is one thing i have been confused about since day one. do you happen to have a part number for the injector you speak of?
  20. does this apply to the s130's? I know you said that you swapped to a ZX master, but does the ZX booster have a reaction disk as well?
  21. i forgot to add, that MS does not know the difference between high or low impedance. both will work, basically you injector selection is based on your fuel rail choice. Pallnet makes a great rail. I plan on investing in one once i decided on my power goals. http://www.freewebs.com/pallnet/products.htm
  22. well MS will work with both high and low impedance. stock is low impedance and will require a resistor pack. here is a link that should help out. if you still have all the stock turbo injectors and wiring, it will work just fine with MS. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=88246
  23. now i really want to see under the cover.. thats just awesome.. why not try to hide more wires.. be even more stealthy..
