  1. bastaad525 I think you will be happy when you get some more fuel in your set up to feed more psi. What about bigger injectors? and a I/C? before some sort of fuel computer?
  2. A bud of mine is wanting more HP in his 91 240sx. And I would like to help him out, but $$$ is tight. This is what I was thinking. -custom turbo header made by me and a bud (if you need manifold or turbo flanges let me know, i just ordered a ka24de exhaust gasket to make up a auto cad dwg. so I can get it laser cut.) -t3 turbo -raising rate fuel regulator -bell core with end tanks made by me and a bud again. -300zx fuel pump That would be good for 6-7psi then I would need some more fuel to get it to 12psi. any thing more than that and its time for some forged pistons....
  3. I like the way the EIC feeds on boost. Would the MAS give the same info the the Apex-i, before the turbo?? other than that I like the looks of the Apex-i one. The way I see it you would need bigger injectors. and you could choke them down at low RPM and let them rip at high RPM... But this make me think it is based on rpm it could make your car run rich when it is not under boost... or maybe I have it all wrong?
  4. If you do pick it up. And used it for a bit. it would not be hard to sell it used, you would take a bit of a hit$$ but it would not be that bad
  5. The only bad thing I can see is that you will max out your stock injectors in a hurry.
  6. How well dose the Apex'i Super AFC II work? I would like to help some buds with some low $$ turbo setups. What i like about the EIC is that is looks so simple to set up, and your car would still run like it was stock untill the boost hits.

    It is quite a complex system. Lots of cool options. There was a 240sx with a SR in it from Texas, that was using that system. it was in a tuner mag
  9. i know Bernardd (a hybridZ member form my aera) is running this set up. With some geat results, but I think he is still ironing out bugs.
  10. Is it a good idea? If so why dont you L28ET guys use it? If I ever did a low budget turbo setup I think I would use it. i.e. on a 240SX KA24DE....

  16. Yes it is only tack welded now, but before I send it would be fully TIG welded. The reason it is so close to the transmission is because it goes right between the tunnel and transmission on its way down. I put it closer to the transmission because it will move with the motor and trans, trying to keep it as far away from the transmission tunnel as possible. And you only have around 1/2" total to play with, so almost all of that 1/2" is between the pipe and tunnel... I don’t think you will need to brace it on the transmission, unless it rattles.... No pressure to buy it, I just want to make sure who ever picks it up knows it is a prototype. And can send it back for any reason, no problem.

  18. It is vary close, almost touching. That is why I am worried about selling it. Corkey Bell shows in his book how you should brace the down pipe to the transmission…. So I don’t know if it is that big of a deal? This one will flow better but a think I will start making them with two 90 bends just to be safe…. But like I said if you don’t like it you can send it back. I can always cut it up and use it ( I am going to make a 3†SS exhaust system for a buddy’s 240SX )

  20. Owen! that is so cool. I was going to do the same thing but I was just going to weld pices on the sides of the vents after bending them in. Like in the first photo of yours. And just on one side of the hood over the turbos.
