  4. Thanks, I dont know what we plan on doing. Drag car? It has a solid rear. Mini tub and 150HP shot of nos? A nice stock look 275HP street car? What do you think we should do?
  5. I just bought a 1UZ-FE form a 95 SC400 to swap into my brothers 72 Celica, I got the Motor, auto transmission, driveshaft, ECU/wiring harness, shifter, gauge cluster, motor mounts trans mount all for 2700$ CAN (around 2000$ US) First thing I’m going to do is cut the old mounts off the Celica crossmeber and position the motor as low and far back as I can get it. Then I will make new mounts on the cross member that bolts to the SC400 mounts. Then the transmission mount, I was thinking of grafting in a part of the SC400 transmission tunnel for the shifter and mount…. But we will see. I’m also going to see if I can use the SC400 gauge cluster. I would graft it in to the old dash with fiberglass then vinyl wrap the whole thing for a stock look. I will post photos soon.
  6. It has been done but the motor sits vary close to the front.

  12. thanks guys, that GN powered one is crazy.
  13. You shouls take a pic of that intercooler in your car, how dose it fit?
  14. yep, the 240Z have the tool box behind the seats too.

  16. Here are some tips on the install 1. Remove tank from car. 2. Remove fuel level sending unit from tank. 3. Wash tank with a pressure washer, or have steam cleaned. 4. Sand blast or grid bottom of tank to make it easer to weld. 5. Position sump on tank with the fuel fittings facing the rear of the car. 6. Trace around the outside of the sump with a marker. 7. Remove sump and with a 1.5†or smaller hole saw drill a pattern in the bottom of the tank, being careful not to make a hole over the traced line. 8. Clean out metal chips in tank. 9. Position and weld sump in place. When welding, the tank might pull away from the sump, so if you can get some thing in from the sender/filler hole to push back on the tank this will help reduce gaps left to fill. 10. Check for leaks. 11. Paint tank with good quality paint like POR15. (This will also help seal up pin holes in the weld)
  17. They also have a 3.4L DOHC 24valve V6 engine code is 5VZFE it has 190HP stock I think.
  18. A GN swap... I wonder what that thing would do in the hands of ScottieGNZ with all his mods. Well this will give me some thing to do. I dont know if or what I will swap in. The V6 seems to fit nice. How much power do you think a toyota 3.4L V6 could handle? Boost that is Toyota motors seem to be able to handle 75% more power than they come with stock. 190hp X1.75 =332HP.... That would be fun.
  19. I make them with any two fittings you want for 60$. But they only fit the 240Z tank, Stony and I found that out when it did not fit his 260 tank.
  20. It has a small engine bay kinda like a 510. So it would be hard to fit a V8 or a I6, but thanks for the ideas. A 13bTT would fit... I would also like to keep the cost low.
