Yep, Just got back. Bad pics, bad video but 305 RWHP! I hope to post the graph soon. It looks like a two hump camel because of the sequential turbos. >250 ft lbs from 2800 rpm on. The boost flucuated between 7.5 and 11 as the curve rose. With the boost controller I can run about 17 PSI safely~~ the mod so far: specs 2550 lbs car. (wet) 1994 US 2JZ-GTE TT with 6 speed 82K fully exhaust with quiet muffler (stock muffler 3 inch piping). huge intercooler Open element air filter (cold) Walbro fuel relay mod everything else stock I changed the plugs like Matt suggested. The car dramatically improved, not more surging and missing. Hopefully, I can got to sacramento now.

I am hitting the dyno in 2.5 hours. (4:15 pm, dyno spot san jose) with video camera in hand. I will figure out what is wrong with this motor. Looky loos are welcome.

I order 45 degree bends off ebay and cut it down to make the bend. The fuel cell is fits fine but doe not fill right as of yet. I kept it all under the floor...

So the plugs helped, but the engine seems off. I took passengers for a ride and they were not scared out of their mind so something is amiss. I will be going to dyno spot in san jose soon (within 7 days) to see what the power is and may be tune it. I wonder if my pipes are leaking boost? Who beads aluminum tubing in SJ?

So can anyone confirm that the above setup will work?

So please confirm if the info is write. I searched... To do a five lug conversion all I need is a turbo 85 to 89 Z hubs and bearings. The hub will be .750" per side more outward when I am done. Conquest/Starion 8 inch wheels with 5.0 backspace will fit with no spacers or flares. Assuming coilovers. I can run Ross C's 13" brakes. I can run 245's with ease. Please any info is good

The old 240Z LS1 is 332 RWHP * 20percent drivetrain loss = 400 engine hp

Ok here is my thinking. all with driver stock supra (320 hp,3600lbs) 106.6mph my old z (400 hp, 2550 lbs) 119 mph so 240z (320 hp, 2750 lbs) = supra -850 lbs or ~115 mph I compression checked the car it is fine. I changed the plugs and the car runs amazingly better. No more missfire under high boost. ps notice how the supra is underated...

I do not know, it was surging at the top end. I will change the plugs and do a compression check.

I have race lots of times. I know the engine is 120 or so down on power from stock.

I have returned from Sacramento. And I ran a..................................................... 14.4@98mph... I was not to happy. I then ran a 100mph pass, then a 103, the a 106.5. And I was not doing anything signicantly different. The car was weak and surging at the top end. I saw a supra there with the minor mods busting out 12.3@116 (3400 lbs). I also weighed my car. My LS1 240z wieghed 2350 lbs with the same mods this car weigh 2550 lbs. So the 6 cylinder weighs 200 pounds more than the V8. Anyways I will change the old nasty plugs, etc. The car should be at 114mph. Fight on!

Went to michaels muffler he turned me away saying it was too hard. Speed mechant estimate 7 to 8 hundred. And babe and lightning is doing it for 275!!! sweet!!! I am going to sacramento tomorrow to race if I can get a hood latch, catch can, and battery hold down tonight. Anyone else racing tommorow? Also it does not feel that powerful stock I am guessing 12.9@109.

IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The 240Z 2JZ-GTE is driving. Seems powerful, gears seems to low I can start in 2 second like most cars 1st. At 5000RPM the motor come alive, both turbos are online. THis thing is loud and smelly I need to get the exhaust put on quick I am drove it to muffler shop and was turned away in san jose. He said it was too hard to do! Help! The picture with the viper V10 and the datsun cracks me up, because I actually bought plastic models of the same scale to help determine if the swap was possible. I would drop in the viper engine. It made me realize that the crossmember was in the way. $30 buck saved me thousands!

I though I would add my story I had been looking for 8 months and I even tried to buy back my old car from khashabi1 (John). Then I responded to an add in the getto of Oakland. The owner told me he had 2 orange 240z for sale. I parked and was affraid my car was going to get stolen. Ever car in the hood, new or old was dented up. I saw one of cars on the street it was horribly dented, it made me want to leave, but I rang the bell. The ower started yelling at me. He thought I was the previous guy who looked at the car. The dash even has no cracks! This car was sheltered. This was straight nice and only had hardly any rust. This was the donor I was looking for. We agreed on $2300. He said I could have bof'em for the same price. But I had no need of the other one. So drove this car with my girlfriend following me. I then noticed the car was very much out of gas because I think he siphoned the gas out. I only need to drive 4 miles to the gas startion. This would have been fine except I have to go over a hill to reach 580 the freeway home. So I got a run at the hill and made it over to gas station. I fill filled and left!
