I raced again this weekend. I ran 12.3 at 119 with a 1.8 or 1.9. Anyways on my third run my half shaft became a Quarter shaft! I heard that these are not supposed to break!!!
aaarrrrgggghhhh!

I got fog/rained out of sacramento...
I got my tires at the salvage yard from a Dodge Conquest. I bought the tires and rims complete with a nail/screw in each. As far as the brand, one is goodyear and on is BFG. I plan on getting some good tires/rim/suspension soon.
Here is the answer:
12.077@119.066
with a 60ft of 1.849
I burned the wee out of the tires then launched soft and shifted soft. It hooked better than ever before!!!
Can you believe the power, I knew this was a good combo!
Ok,
We got fogged out....the track was so wet that they closed the track again. And for all those that say get in to it at the start...just know the car will still not hold 2gear at 60 MPH.
I will go racing when the weather get good..
For the front of my 1971 LS1 240Z I want to use 300zx hubs and run conquest/starion 8 or 9 inch rims on the front. I was planning on using the trick ground control coil overs. I can not use any spacers either.
I need to know where to get a roll cage in the bay area of california. I would like a professional one welded in. Autopower probabaly will not cut it...
I want to use the C4 because I road race and drag race. I dont want the stub axels failing, or the little U joints to fail ethier, plus the C4 has disc, posi, and is light.
No no...
I want to use the largest wheels possible, so I need the 5 lug to make the conquest 8" or 9" wheels. I want to know which ones to get and what it requires.
DAW,
I bought a set of 87 conquest 15x6 1/2" rims for the rear of my 240z. They fit the rear but not the front. DOH!
Will the 8" conquest front wheels fit on the front of the 240z with 300zx hubs (what year?).
Will the 9" conquest fit on the rear. I read they are 9 with a 0 offset. which would make the back spacing 5 inches.
I got the check engine light to remain off. I wish I would have known to leave the following f body stuff in the harness:
Clutch switch
engine fan circuit
lead for the cruise control
If I did I might have no DTC's
I have some but they must not be severe enough to light the check engine light.
