Just an update! Thanks to rc's240z for the new contact info. PDK is alive and well. I spoke with marc this past week and got an order going. Hopefully he will remember to update the phone number on the web site.

OK here's the deal. I'm set on the idea that I will need a better diff in my 240z. After searching the topic, I feel the best choice for me will be the Q45 diff R200 R230, call it what ya want.
Here's my dilema. I'm already planning on getting Ross's adapters and axles, and ofcourse tracking down 4 outboard oem CVs. And I realize the MB ( I currently have a 280z R200 & bar ) will need to have a new bolt pattern redrilled.
My biggest concern is with the front mount. I don't really have the equip or experience to fab this up. Is there anyone out there that could help me out with this? Does anyone make one for sale? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm in the bay area, CA.
Thanks

Thanks for the detailed info! The wheels look awesome! I can't wait to get the 5 lug set-up bolted onto my Z.
Mike, I realize you're clear across the states. I'm hoping to get a set of inexpensive oem GT wheels and tires just to get me on the road until I can afford a nice set of wheels and also to get an idea of how big/wide I will be able to go with the new wheels. I'm afraid shipping costs would end up being to much to have the set shipped to CA.....? Oh well, I think all the local JY guys are getting to konw me too well by now.....

Any chance you want to sell your old wheels...?
-
Wow looks GREAT!. Please share your specs....!
It looks like you have a Ford 5 lug set-up....? I'm going to be doing the same here very soon I I'm wondering what wheel sizes will fit (biggest)!

This is common with lowering springs. I usually just make certain thet are sitting in the perch correctly while the car is being brought off the lift/jack. Coil-overs will pretty much guide themselves back to their seats.

Ah man I thought the gathering was going to be next weekend..(3/19 or 20) I won't be able to make it this weekend but count me in for next weekend...........

I'm looking for info on PDK Fabrication. I've seen a few of their products talked about here on the board (by searching, of course) but I can't get a hold of the shop. I've tried 2 different phone numbers with no luck and I've also sent an email from their website, but no reply.
Just wondering if anyone here know what's going on, or maybe the owner is a member here.....? I would like to order from them, but I'm kinda scared to send money to someone I can't get a hold of first.
Thanks.

I used mounting rubbers from a 73-80 chevy pick up with a small block
400 or big block engine.
They are made for the 3 1/2 inch tanks.
Hope this helps.
Yes! Perfect! Exactly what I've been looking for! I'll call the dealer in the morning, or back to the pick n pull.
Thanks!

Wow that looks pretty good! How much did everything end up costing?

Hey thanks. I already the have metal pieces that I'm going to use for the install. I'm mainly just looking for the rubber pieces. I'll check out the Volvo ones! Thanks.

I believe MSA and even seen on ebay some white guage overlays for the stock guages. It sounds similar like what you're talking about but the latter will have oem style pre-printing and I think some even have a cool Z logo!

Thanks Davy. Yeah the griffin I have is a flat top with the tanks on the sides. I actually bought the JTR radiator mounts planning to use them with the griffin.
Well, apparently the newer JTR mounts will only work with the oem camaro radiator. The griffin is just a bit too thick. The griffin core is fine but the tanks are too thick. It's a shame too because the JTR pieces are really nice!
I'll try the pick and pulls but I haven't fiven up on GM yet. I'm going to try a couple more dealerships, otherwise I'll probably just end up using the "Help" brand uni. ones.

Hey thanks guys. I found some universal rubber mounts made by that HELP brand. They need to be trimmed but they look like they will work. Part number is 10665.
I was really hoping for some oem ones. I'm going to stop by GM this week and try to find a better set even though the HELP ones should work just fine. I'm guessing something off a full size truck might work.
I got a nice surprise too while I was searching for these pads. A guy here at my local auto parts store has a blown/nos SBC 240Z at the auto parts store. I'm wondering if the owner is a member here.....?
-
oops.
I realize this is more of a "cooling" question but I figures alot of SBC guys are using this radiator.
Thanks

OK I tried searching on this but I still have a question. I just got a Griffin 24x19 universal GM style rad. I'm trying to get it mounted but I'm having a hard time finding the rubber insulator pads for the upper and lower radiator mounts. I've tried all the local auto parts stores. I would like to use an oem style piece instead of rubber tubing or hoses as someone suggested in other posts. I'm trying to keep the install as "oem" or sanitary as possible so I'm hoping someone has a part number or source for some nice mounting pads. Thanks.

Hey thanks! I was going to try to change the oil before the drive but I was starting to rain and I would have had to do it in a parking lot:|
I'm just glad to have the car in my garage so I can start...or is it continue....I know it's probably not finish....working on it again!
