I have 71 in garage that you can stand where the battery used to be. With your feet on the ground. After my fairlady z is done Im going to learn to weld and paint using it. Your rust doesnt look to bad at all!

If you are going to replace it later why dont you just take a black magic marker to it. You probably will not be able to tell the differance

I ship alot of stuff off ebay and the shipper has to file the complaint. I have never had any luck getting reimbursed but I have allways filed with fed ex and never ups. Good Luck

I saw a z that the guy used flush mounted motorcycle turn lights. It looked verrrrrrry nice and was only about 35 bucks to do.

The pass. side is 7 1/2

On my fairlady Z the mirror on the passanger side is 11 1/2 inches fron the headlight bucket seam and 7 3/4 inches from the hood seam (to the center of the mounting hole) and on the drivers side it is the same but it is 7 3/4 away from the hood seam. I hope that helps

Drained all the gas today in the carb the tank and the lines, replaced the plugs and it still wont start. I pulled one of the valve covers and there was a froth like foam that was grey and turned to water when you touched it.

find a shop in your area that will media blast the car for you. This will remove the bondo, paint and everything else and let you see what you have. It shouldnt be to much to have it done. Its 400.00 here in kansas city to strip a z to bare metal.

I have a 351c in my car I have stong spark (at the plugs) and gas but it wont start. The car has been sitting for around a year would the gas have gone bad? Could this be the reason it wont start? I have checked the firing order and replaced the cap, rotor, plugs, plugwires, and coil. I dont know where to look next but the gas. The timing is correct but it wont even try to fire, even with starting fluid it wont catch.

Jwink25 have you been to the hazcc.com site. its the z club here in kansas city. we have members all over the state even in springfield. You may want to look at the clubs site. As far as no muffler I ran my 260 with only headers for about a week and never got pulled over. On my fairlady Z turbo conversion I am going to run 3 inch pipe to a 5 inch supertrapp.

You can find all the intercooler's you will ever need on ebay. The npr's sell for around 200.00 on there.

I have state farm and have had no trouble getting $10000.00 on my fairlady z from them and its in part in my garage. Last year when the ice storm totaled my audi a4 they paid in less than 2 weeks and gave me more than fair market value. My Z is my 3rd car on my policy and costs less than 100.00 a year to insure. The only time I have ever fought a insurance company was over a wreck that wasnt my fault. They wouldnt give me book value for my car so I had a attorny call them and tell them he was representing me in the matter. 4 hours later they called me and gave me what I wanted. You Just have to keep pushing them abit.
