  1. It is a 71 240z and is going to get a rb26dtt or rb25det not sure yet, and it will have kinesis K57 wheels with a dark tan (baseball glove) interior with a cage! The goal for the motor will be for 500-600 rwhp and a hi / mid 10 second car.
  2. After 2 1/2 years it is out of the body shop!! What do ya think?
  3. Its not too bad I am sure it will grow on me!
  4. I am going to let the color slide and try to get used to it. Just A little fyi Dont pay up front and get lots of pictures!! Plus make them put everything in writing!! They pushed my car to a corner and didnt touch it for months at a time. Then they tried to cut corners on the paint finish. When I went to pick the car up the first time there was orange peel everywhere and 2 big runs in the paint that you could see from 5 feet away. This whole thing has been 1 big learning experience! After all the hassle with the body shop I dont think I want them repainting my car anyway. The real bad part is I referred 2 people to this shop (34000.00 worth of work not counting my 14000.00) and they Treat me like I'm an a-hole beacuse I want the body on the car to near perfect.
  5. I put 2 pictures in my hybrid garage. Sorry about the crappy cell phone pictures.
  6. I think I will just see if it grows on me besides The money to re-paint it can go to the rb swap!!
  7. http://www.carpaintonline.com/VendorsLists2.aspx?vid=103&year=2004&imgurl=uploaded/109,103,0IMP_04_P29.Jpg Here is a link to the color chart for ppg I wanted the sunflower and it is closer to mellow yellow.
  8. I dont post alot (I use the search alot) but I have a problem with my fairlady z. After 2 1/2 years @ the body shop it is finally done and I dont think I like the color. I am 14000.00 in right now and it will another 5-7k to paint it again. I wanted the bright VW Bug yellow from 2001 and the color on the car is more of a milky yellow, the body is about as close to flawless as you can get, and the color is not bad but its just not what I had pictured in my mind when I started the project. So do I just bite the bullit and have them re-spray the car in another shade of yellow or try to learn to like the color on it now. I should have pictures in the next few days.
  9. Every time I see ole blue I want to paint my fairlady that color!! That is so so so so nice! the pan look like it is a good part. Let me know how well it fits once it is on.
  10. Thats just what John @ CCW told me for my fairlady. Stock suspension and Zg's
  11. Have you done a write up on how to make those kick A** headlights?
  12. -19 rear and -16 front is the offset that ccw told me. With Zg's and 17 x 9.5 wheels
  13. I sold the l20 out of my fairlady on ebay and it only brought 110.00 I thought it would do alot better.
  14. Thats a great Color!!! I know how you feel My Fairlady has been @ the body shop for 2 1/2 years and its still not done. Thats what I get for taking it to a mustang shop. It should be done by mid january but I am not holding my breath!
  15. You know you can ship that for about 130.00 bucks. I use freightquote.com and they will find the best deal out there. I ship 5 or 6 items a month via truck freight and they have never done me wrong.

  17. Man I love this Web Site!!!
  18. I thought I would run 14-19 on the street and 19-25 at the strip.
  19. I did a search and did not find an answer. I am looking at an intercooler that is 26L x 12H x 4W With 3 inch inlet / outlet. The website says it is good to 1000hp and leak down tested to 30psi. I want the Z to put down in the 450-550hp range @ the wheels. Is this too big and what would the side effects of a big intercooler be? Good & Bad. Thanks
  20. The fiberglass Zg's I got from MSA Where not the greatest quality part. But after The body shop played with them they fit pretty nice. I am just going to run tokico 5 way shocks and lowering springs. John @ CCW told me 17x11 in back and 17x10 for the front. That should fill the Zg's up real nice and not have any issues!
  21. You wont have any problem finding tires. Let us know what he say's as far as offset.
  22. The guy's name @ CCW is john and he has set 5 or 6 Z's with the classics. Thats who I would talk too.
  23. -16 front and -19 rear is what I was told. If you call them and talk to john ( I think thats his name) He know what will fit a z perfect.
