  1. Hi Pat,

Do you have a build thread somewhere? I tried searching and have not had much luck. I was curious about your intercooler and fuel pressure regulator but didn't want to clutter up this thread if it's answered elsewhere. Curious about the dimensions of your front mount and which FPR you're using. I am looking at a 27x12x3 front mount from CXRacing and the Nismo type A fpr. I'm also curious about which electric fan you're using. It looks like it's in front of the radiator. I'm liking that idea since the engine bay is a bit cleaner for it.

    Thanks! B)

I don't have a build thread sorry. The intercooler is a 24x12x3 from tank to tank. I wish I used a bigger one. I was thinking of getting a bigger one and welding it up myself. I didnt have my ac/dc tig when I bought this one. I wanted the inlets and outlets to match up with the stock holes in the core support.

The fuel psi reg is a nismo type a. I cant remember what brand the fan is (I bought it over 15 years ago But is a 12 inch fan and it's a blower so it can go on the outside of the radiator.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

  2. I got it all together today, Its running great hauls a$$ right now but it needs a tune. I going to get it tuned asap. Here are some pics

  3. Man you sure are negative. Let the guy do this swap.

All the parts are getting cheap now. You just have to know where to look

    T-belt 41.00

    Seals 30.00

    Rear main 21.00

    Water pump 60.00

    Intercooler piping 60-100

    Driveshaft 250.00

I can get the rb25 swaps local for 1800.00.

I bet you never driven or rode in a z with a rb20. Don't knock it until you try it. I have had several people act the same way until I take them for a ride.

  4. Well I think and know that the rb swap CAN be less costly that some people think. If you can fab your own mounts and oil pan and do your own wiring it is possible to do it RIGHT on a limited budget.

I made a set of mounts for my rb for less that 20.00. I bought the steel and made some kickass mounts for Yes 20 bones. It was very easy and look incredible. But I have all the tools need to cut, grind and to weld steel or and other kind of metal.

I have been and will keep making the oil pans for this swap. To help you guys out. My pans start at 250.00 and go up to 600.00 plus.

This swap doesn't have to cost a arm and a leg.

  5. If I had to choose I would go with the series 1.

    Because

1- the coil packs on these rb's are crap. The series 2 coil packs are harder to find and cost more.

2- the common problem with these rb's are either the PCM or the

Cas and both are hard to find for the series 2 and cost alot more.

  6. I fabed up all my intercooler piping but I have all the tools to do the job correctly. Get yourself the intercooler and some 45,90 degree and some j bends and some straight cuts and go to town. It's really not that hard. I maybe have 50.00 in my piping if that.

  7. I just want to show some pictures of my neverending project.
