  4. This is good stuff. I am considering buying a 1971 Hakosuka from these guys. Its in Yokohama and not that far from me. Do you guys think that 17K is worth it? They seem to look very well maintained. I will go check next weekend. DAMN look how much the S30 GNose Z is going for!!!! Thats over 40K!!!!!! http://www.flexnet.co.jp/autoreview/src.html Terry
  5. Might be of interest to someone. http://www.zzzing.net/index_02.htm http://www.zzzing.net/jun_auto_sales/index.html Terry
  6. Ulises, what mounts did ya use? Make them or get from off the board? TErry
  7. These are great stories. Well Ill have to say I havent lost a single race since June 25th of 2005 to now. The reason is because Im in Japan and my Car is in storage.... Ok thats my excuse......hahahahaha. Terry
  8. Damn not a bad idea. Steering rack, wheel, dash, pedal assembly. Hmmm. Too bad cars are getting harder to find in junk yards that arent being shipped out of the country. TErry
  9. HAHA! Yes I did! That was a good race. I spun on the start and fell behind a little but got him by about a car lenth at the end. He had a 454 BigBlock in there and was sweet! He was just a little too heavy that day but still ran high 11s I think. I ran a 11.6 on that pass if memory serves me correctly with a 1.9 60 foot. Usually run 1.5s/1.6s all day.....HAHAHA... You can hear the announcer say at the end...Terry gets.....(the win at.....lol). That was a fast truck though!!!! Terry
  10. No its automatic. I wouldnt want a stick in this car. Its 4000 pounds!!! BUt having a little power would be cool. Actually I bet it runs a 14 sec qtr already. It has alot of power once it gets rolling....
  11. Thats an Aristo front clip (also the Lexus GS300 in the states) however the states didnt come with turbos I think. Man I hope I can bring back the Aristo without much trouble, its a hellacious ride and I love it. Lots of electrical crap to go wrong though. Hell my car even has side view mirror defrosters WTF? There are some sweet body kits for the Aristos as well. May be a keeper. Terry
  12. Remember the individual letters and numbers can already be ordered from 1 inch to over 2 inches tall. Anyone could customized thier own line now. Example Hybrid 240ZGTT383V8Z like HANNS...HAHAHAHAHA. That would break the bank. Seriously even ordering the single letters now like 1 inch letters for HYBRID and then a two inch letter for the Z placed slightly lower on the end to get the effect. I agree with the HybridZ single as well.... Terry
  13. Yes get pics!!!! Wow thats one of a kind. What year was it? Terry
  14. Message I just recieved from the se guys in Japan. Dear Terry, Thank you for your interest in our company. If you have never purchased a car from Japan, before you finish with your order we strongly recommend that you check with your local authorities (DOT office, customs office and etc) that you can import and register this car in the USA. Please note, that most of the high performance cars (including some of the regular cars) do not comply with US DOT standards and it will be difficult to register these cars in USA. We do not recommend you to order the car unless you are sure that you will be able to register this car in USA. Please proceed only if you are sure. For the customers going after high performance cars or their parts - we offer dismantling service and can dismantle the car to the extend that is acceptable with custom regulations. We are not responsible for your not being able to import the car once you purchase is from us so please make sure you can import it before placing this order. Please let us know if you have any questions. -- Best regards, Yuji Hatano, Foreign Trade Department mailto:info@japan-partner.com Japan Partner Ltd. phone: (81) 52-303-5157 fax: (81) 52-303-5309 fax: (81) 52-304-1205
  15. I second that!!!! How about HyBridZ:D Makes it suitable for all. Mods what ya think? Is this doable? I guess someone needs to contact the company and ask what prices we are looking at here for a one off custom. A one piece will look much better than single letters!! Terry
  16. Me too!!! I may be able to actually afford it...wait....will need new AFR 210s right? MAybe 195s will work fully ported... Well dammit..... Terry
  17. HAHA...no Sir! Maybe turn into a fiberglass bumper by the time I get there!! T
  18. Just my opinion but the GM heads at $570 or so each is ok but Id go a couple bucks more and get the AFR 195 heads $1200 complete and CNC ported. I think those are a better choice for the price and out of the box performance. Anyone else? http://www.airflowresearch.com Terry
  19. Just wanted to share. Chrome lettering available here. I was thinking HYBRID Z V8 or what ever. They can also do group custom badges (minimum order 300) may be a good idea to gauge interest on a design for Hybrid Z. http://chromeemblems.com/ind-letters-numbers.aspx Terry
  20. haHa , yeah I saw that...too funny! I thought it would be cool to hook this car up over here and bring it back when I come since its paid for and shipping is free for me. Also the stateside models didnt come turbo. I can buy an after market turbo upgrade kit used for $1500 and give me about 400RWHP. That should be plenty for a luxury cruiser at 4000 pounds....... Then I could always stuff it in the Z once I get tired of the weight. Terry
  21. No those are only the prices to purchase the car. Shipping is another $700 to $1200 depending on container etc. You need an importer conversion shop to pickup the car once it arrives at US port to do the mods etc. You would have to inquire on prices for the type of car with them. I know Skylines are crazy expensive to get street legal and the only shop I know that did them was shut down. Dont know thier status as of now though. Here is an EMail addy to a conversion shop is Cali that I EMailed today. I am wanting to bring back my Aristo 2JZ Turbo as well. aad02@sbcglobal.net The name was Auto Dream Imports or something like that in Costa Mesa? Terry
