  1. Guys does reversing the cages also apply to the SE axles? I have the VLSD and axles, just waiting on the Z31 adapters from Ross. Will they fit with that mod?

  2. I was just thinking if the rice crowd wanted to be impresed they should take a gander at JapTin or Ron Jones N/A Zs. Thats some fast stuff.... I wonder what a turbo or two would be like there....lol. The combinations are endless.

  3. Theyll learn once they get back. We all get lost in the moment over there. Hell I was racing in 1982 with a L28 and Mikunis and thought I was the fastest car ever....Little did I know. It doesnt matter what engine your runing anyway, its all about money. If ya got deep enough pockets you can always be faster. I think Im gonna go with Turbo Meiser;s idea and twin an 8....

  4. Whats up Stony. Yeah I like yours better too but its a Honda thing...lol. Im going to Camp Fuji to work as a GS-11 for three years so when I get back I may back half and turbo myself.....if I got the nads to do it that is...

  5. TM, I know once you get there its greeat for a moment , then you say.....so!!! How can I make it faster. I would love to turbo an 8, nothing could come close with all the goodies. Ill just laern from you for awhile!!!! Awesome vid BTW!

  6. Hell I was running 12.3s at 114 with the 2500 stall. After changing to this 3500 stall Im quicker and slower...lol. Its an EDGE convertor. Best investment Ive made so far. If anyone can host a vid I can post my 11.9 run.

     

    BTW Im also running a 411 rear, that cuts the MPH down a bit too I expect. Im going 370s after I can find some axles off a 1988 300ZX. I have a 370 Viscous LSD, just need axles.

  7. Thanks Doc. Well so far I have the Aeromotive regulator which is alcohol ready. My fuel pump in the Holley Black so that is also compatible. I have an aluminum fuel cell so I will need the additive for that right? My fuel lines are braided steel rubber lines that everyone has. Do I need to change those? My fuel filter is a PAXTON. I think it is alcohol compatible too. Its the BIG BLUE one with O-ring seals and -10 inlet and outlet as seen here at the top http://www.tweakit.net/shop/product_info.php?cPath=&products_id=358 Anything else to ponder? Jets are usually twice the size of gas right. Im thinking of an 850 carb for the alky.

  8. Ran last night and finally got her into the elevens with the 350. Still only engine no NOS.

     

    NOT LOCKED IN THIRD

     

    Quarter 11.98 @ 110.94

    Eighth 7.58 @ 89.33

    60 Foot 1.64

     

    DIDnt run in lock mode but tested MPH and ran 112.76 vs 110.94 Locked on a 3500 stall.

    havent figured it out yet I guess. Had problems launching after the 11.98 pass without NOS. Track was getting worse each run.

     

    I still have a better launch in there cuz I was launching at 2100 brake stall. It will stall to 2500 so maybe a 1.59 is possible with good track conditions. I gotta get to Ennis!!!! One step at a time. I know what Scotty means by tuning tuning tuning. The suspension tuning is just as important! Ok now what????? 11.8s of coarse!

    After reading all the posts there is alot of good information there. Sort it out and think about it before you do anything. Without going into detail' date=' I was married for 22 1/2 years. Good marriage until near the end. People change over time and so do their interests unfortunately. However, do not be discouraged by this setback. Its really minor in the scope of things. Its a target rich environment out there and a variety to choose from. So don't get bummed out.

     

    Heres a twist...Occassionally, when discussing situations such as yours with others, I go off and say; "Now days things for me are somewhat different...I have a Mistress. Shes great! And kinda cute too! Always, waiting to greet me when I arrive home. Usually, wearing very little. Never complains, or puts peramiters on me. I buy her nice things and provide for her needs. I occassionally bath her and rub her all over with exotic oils, and in turn, she provides me with hours of titalating enjoyment. She never bores me with idle chatter, nor advises me on how to do things. She knows her place and does pretty much whatever I ask. Whenever I want to take her out, shes ready at a moments notice and usually dressed to kill! At parties she seems to draw a crowd, usually the guys. Yea, she's great...and once in a while when she (my Z)breaks down...I even get SCREWED! So, bearing that in mind...lol, don't let the small challenges in life cause havoic. Time is too precious, so do the things that make you happy. Emotional sensitivity has its place...just look around, and you'll find someone that will compliment you, and the things you enjoy most in life...and you will do the same for her.

  10. Damn Dan! Thanks! I am just trying to be different with my next project. thats an awesome idea. I also thought about the VR front clip and your rear clip YZ? But After second thought The whole kit would be sweet on a hard top with the front and rear panels filled in. I would add some skyline rear tail lights too. I may be going back to Japan in the near future so I will be going to some junk yards. Oh yeah a sun roof is a must for a hard top as well. Anyone want to PHOTO SHOP the ideas?

     

    Also with a Taurus fan I dont think cooling would be a problem. It is similiar to the GNOSE and wouldnt have a turbo or aircon condenser blocking the way....thanks for the replies...I think we are onto something here.
