  6. My modified diff mount developed a crack due to metal fatigue , crack was welded and back on the road stump re adjusted to prevent play Q45 R200 diff modified axles, no issues since the weld fix

How is the LS1 conversion on your Z holding up, miles since the conversion , any issues, info relevant to the up keep, developments on the built Here is my up to date info on my Z with an LS1 engine. Over 25K miles since conversion(2005)10K by PO the rest on me in over a yr. Engine is stock, oil changes using Mobil 1, one resent issue with the engine coolant sensor. Up keep maintenance ; rear differential mount needed re enforcement , brake booster replaced, front and rear pads replaced,new aluminum radiator, new set of tires, battery replaced and the A/C compressor was acting up and was replaced last summer. The T5/6spd and Q45 R200 diff has no issues She is a joy to ride, reliable, ease of maintenance, plenty HP, close to 30mpg's, best of both worlds,Old Nippon Classic GT with modern engine/suspension/brakes

  10. Yep, a cheapy , look at the emergency hand brake, to bad that they are using the Datsun brand for basic cars. Back in the day the 510 was a cheapy but had some nice features in comparison with others cars . This GO is just plain transportation cheap

    Is there an alternative rubber plug for the floors on a 240Z, I only need one , some how it vanished . Hate to pay 40$ >>> pointers welcome
  14. My beast has the A/C bracket from JOHN'S JAG Z v8 conversion kit , it mounts on the pwr/steering LS1 original placement with GM serpentine belt >> and alternator
  15. Early Z's are very thin skin, with tiny bumpers, not much safety when built back in the early days, later Z's had larger bumpers and thicker skin , just be aware that there some real @$$'s out on the road, drive on the look out/in safety mode and " ENJOY THE RIDE " . FWIW

  17. Thanks for the info . I ask again , is it OK to leave the current set up via an external none ECM signal for fans and aftermarket A/C unit. I do like the idea of a clear CEL

  21. Rebekahsz, that is a very accurate sentiment on this Z addiction . Yes the $$$$$$'s we dish out is only understood by true Z addicts , I have a hate/love type syndrome with my Z. Want to sell one day, next day she gives me a hard one , or gives me smiles, next day I want to sell.........see the picture, but hey she is my other woman. old,smelly( mine does no brake down much ) but she shines and she is friggin' awesome
  22. ECM control for fans according to PO was not sending signals for proper operation, that engine and harness/ECM came from an automatic car . She has an T5/6 spd ,is this an issue to remedy or leave it as it is now
