  1. Thanks alot Jersey, you answered my question to the bone. I will not be using the fuel pump modulator so that makes it alot easier. I probably will be upping the boost so I may go with walbro fuel pump. Thanks again man, your a lifesaver or should I say time saver John
  2. Thanks alot guys, so the N/A Z32 rims will clear the stock spring without a spacer? Thanks, John
  3. I've been wondering that too. Kind of looks like a gummy bear pet of some sorts? Well' date=' it looks [i']way[/i] to happy for one. !M! Your Avatar has intrigued me also. Kinda looks like some sort of mutated llama or something. Strange . John
  4. Strange taking a second look at the pics my dad is putting a rear clip on a Z32 that was hit almost identical to your car. Had the clip cut off one car and welded onto the other in two days.
  5. Sucks man, but from the pics it doesnt look like the frame is damaged. Looks like the front left suspension is definitely gone, but it looks repairable. But from the pics it looks like the rear of the car crumpled a little bit. But it may be easier and cheaper to find another Z. Hope it all works out for ya. John
  6. Not talking about the AFM, but you kinda answered my question anyhow. Thanks, John
  7. I will not be doing the conversion for a while, probably in about 3-5 weeks. If your done before me, let me know how it works out w/o coil overs. Thanks, John
  8. If I bolt the Z31 front 5 lug hubs to my 280z and send my rear hubs to modern motorsports to get redrilled, will I be able to run stock 300zx 16x7's without coil overs? Thanks, John
  9. Thanks, Also I'm putting my N42 intake on my turbo motor and I took every thing off of it and left a few vaccum taps on it. Will the motor run ok with no air regulator, cold start injector, etc. By the way I have stock efi. Thanks John
  10. What does the carbon canister do and will I need it for my l28et? Thanks John
  11. So I can run the green wire to power the fuel pump and ground the black shielded wire near the pump and this will work? This will also eliminate the fuel pump modulator? Also In this diagram, http://www.hvmparts.com/dc/TurboZ-WiringDiagram-DRAFT-1.jpg, would I now not have to run a wire from the pump to the connector on the Zx harness, also is the shielded wire the one that has a gray cover over a black wire. Thanks alot Jersey, I think I am on the right track now. I would really apreciate those tech notes, do you have any other suggestions? Thanks John
  12. I am researching the wiring of the l28et into my 76' 280z. I have all other wire splices and where they go down except when it comes to the fuel pump. Off the FP relay I have a green wire which splits off into two wires one goes to a plug in the back of the car and another goes to a plug near the EFI relay, do I need to do anything with any of these? Then I have a blue with red stripe wire that goes into the plug by the EFI relay I dont think I do anything with this do I? Then theres a black wire which I beleive is a ground right? Then the black wire with a white strip, this wire was cut on my harness, does any one know where it goes, I think it goes into the plug by the EFI relay but Im not sure. I also have a question about the plug that goes back by the fuel pump. It has a green wire going to it and a black shielded wire, where do these go. Sorry for the long post but Im stuck at this point and dont know how to go about it. Thanks John
  13. those two on ebay were the first Ive ever seen up for grabs.
  14. Nope, not mine, belongs to a Japanese tuning shop called Spirit Garage. http://s-garage.hp.infoseek.co.jp/s30z.htm I have a best motoring video with this car in it, it sounds extremely good.
  15. Those videos on ebay, had a twin turbo carbed 240z in them that was a real car, supposedly put out 600hp, wish I would have gotten the videos look really cool.
  16. Looks like you guy's missed out, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36475&item=7908066259&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36475&item=7908066960&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
  17. You dont need power to drift all it takes is talent, if you have a good technique and know what your doing you can drift a stock ae86.
  18. Here are some pics for you RacerX, dont know if they help any.
  19. No prob. man, just stating some facts about an awesome car, heres the site (you may need to brush up on your Japanese) http://s-garage.hp.infoseek.co.jp/s30z.htm They also sell some awesome suspension setups for Zs, god I wish I lived in Japan.
  20. Lookin good Mike. I like the idea of putting the gauge were it is easily seen so you can constantly monitor it. Good mod
  21. Yes the Spirit Garage S30Z is not rice at all although it is pure race. On a road course it ran a faster lap time then a 500hp skyline, silvia, and rx7. And no it is not my car I only wish I could take the credit of building it.
  22. I like the exhaust system. Cant imagine what the car is gonna cost, wonder if the price will skyrocket due to all the engineering that went into the production V10. none the less that things gonna be a real beast.
  23. I like that color would love more pics too. Looks like the color I'm gonna use on my car, mazda spicey orange, pearly orange and its only one stage paint so it should turn out good.
  24. Yep its 55mm out of a 5sp altima, I'll have to check on the automatic ones.
  25. Sweet, will this be the first non-v8 z in the 9s ?
