  1. Yes, on the bottom side of the turbo exhaust side, there is a removeable flange, such as this one: This is an AN fitting flange, which is not what we want due to the face that the stock turbo oil pan has a hose that is probablly yes, 3/4". Where can we get a flange with a 3/4" hose fitting output from the turbo?
  2. Are you running a stock turbo, because according to Megasquirt, 440cc injectors are way to big for our application. Here is our setup: Stock L28ET internals Stock intake/exhaust manifolds Stock Nissan turbo 60mm throttle body with spacer 24x12x3 intercooler with 2.5" piping We will also be using barb style injectors/fuel rail.
  3. Ok boys, let me lay this out for you. Our stock turbo doesn't have an oil output flange, hose, or any kind of fitting for that fact. Yes, we do have the turbo, no, we have no way to hook up a return, what is the most convenient way to go about piecing together an oil return for our stock turbo on our L28ET with a turbo oil pan? Thanks!
  4. Yeah, that is exactly what I need, but they're hard to come by
  5. Is there a case for the relay board? If the board is exposed like that, I would assume one good washing of the engine and I would be screwed!
  6. Hey guys, we're nearing completion of our rebuild and about to buy a return line, one problem though. We can buy the flange and line off eBay, but the tricky part is how it will plug into the oil pan. The oil pan only has what looks like a hose fitting that you clamp a hose on to, I'm sure you guys konw what I'm talking about. But anyways, the hose kits that are on eBay have AN fittings on both ends. So my question is, how do I hook the line up to the oil pan? Here is the flange/hose/fittings off ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TURBO-OIL-RETURN-DRAIN-LINE-KIT-FOR-T70-T3-T4-T25-T28_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1209Q7c39Q3a1Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c240Q3a1318QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem160286724650QQitemZ160286724650
  7. Ok, well I just need to get ahold of someone that has one, if you guys know of someone, could you let me know? Thanks!
  8. Ok..so use a soldering iron to get the hose off? I dont want to damage the injector because I will be reusing them and putting new hose on. There is actually some sort of twine within them that makes them even harder to get off.
  9. Hey guys, has anyone else had problems taking this fuel line off? It was tough just separating the injector and hose section from the fuel rail, but getting the hose off the injector is nearly impossible. I've tried side cuts and got it down to about 1/8 of an inch and now I cant get it off. What should I do about these stubborn hoses?
  10. Hey guys, just wondering if you guys arhave had as much trouble as I have with our rear differential insulator (rear as in toward the fron of the car). We cannot get it off, we applied heat, PB blaster, everything. At that, you cant get a socket on it because of the shape of the insulator. Im taking it in and putting it on a lift tommorow, but has anyone else had this much trouble?
  11. Yes, is it possible to buy a stud off eBay and run the filter straight off the block temporarily, just so we can get it going.
  12. Ok, I understand the fittings are able to be capped off, but I'm talked about the parts the fittings are attached to. Its like a raised piece in the intake. You know how the intake isnt a circle, its likea teardrop shape? Thats the part that isnt covered. How do we fix that?
  13. Ok, so how is the rail mounted, or is it just supported by the injectors?
  14. Well actually all 3 ports, it seems like when we put the throttle body on the right way with the TPS on the outside, the vacuum draw or whatever it is makes a huge vacuum leak, but im assuming the spacer will cover it, correct? Also, what do I do about the draw on the bottom? Plug it?
  15. Ok, well Im not falling for all the performance crap they say, we just need one for the linkage. My other question is about the vacuum "port" if you will, the top part on these throttle bodies that have fittings on them on the outside, maybe Im describing it bad, but if you know what I mean, will this cover it up? If not, it would be a major vacuum leak.
  16. Alright, cool, I got it off I think I have all of the info I need on the oil cooler stuff, thanks guys!!!
  17. Yea, thats perfect, will that "kit" bolt right up, or will we need to purchase something else other than obviously the oil cooler to make it mount up to the block? We also are having trouble getting the old oil filter housing with the oil cooler fittings off. As far as I can see, it seems like you must remove the bolts that go through the piece and into the block, but then that is where I'm stuck. We tried turning it because it seems like its threaded on, but we couldnt even budge it. How does it come off?
  18. Hey guys, I came across this on Ebay, will it work for putting a 240SX thorttle body spacer onto a turbo 280zx manifold? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-Truck-Parts-Accessories__OBX-Throttle-Body-Spacer-93-98-Nissan-Altima-2-4L-240SX_W0QQitemZ160284011451QQadnZCarQ20Q26Q20TruckQ20PartsQ20Q26Q20AccessoriesQQadiZ2865QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item160284011451&_trkparms=72%3A543%7C39%3A1%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245
  19. How did you know that there is a 3M in Valley!??! Have you lived here? Anyways, so will I still use these bolts (dont even know what they're called) and find some banjo fittings or do I remove those and buy a converter piece at this tractor hardware store?
