  2. I am using the stock 4l60e and I love it. I had to play with the shift points using Tunercat but now it works good. If I was you I would use a obd1 ecu. mike
  3. Tim with the r230 I have to have 4 bolt holes. This will make it not as strong. I need to find a r200 bar soon and then I will make a 2nd mount for the diff. Mike
  4. The bar broke about 3" away from the bolt holes. Does anyone have a r200 bar for sale? Mike
  5. I broke my mustache bar when I took my car out tonight. The mustache bar just broke in 1/2. Has anyone here used anything stronger? Mike

  8. My Alston roll cage was less then $200 for the 6 point. I think that the side bars tie the car in very good.
  9. You might want to check with nhra if it is ok to use 2" strip. But if you donot use it for drag racing then you are ok. Mike

  11. Here is the dyno, if you have 380rwhp I would like to see just how fast you can go with that much power.

  13. I went 11's tonight but I broke my R230 rubber isolators. They just pulled out of the diff. Looks like I need some better isolators. It sounded like the drive shaft broke in 1/2 but when I towed it home I found out the good news..

  15. Tim I think that the ls1 injectors are 28lb but this is at a higher psi. I used ford 30lb svo injectors on mine about $70 on ebay. I found out that the 24lb lt1 injectors are good up to 350rwhp.
  16. I used the LT1 for my swap and I love it. I still want to build a LS1 240z in about a year. The LS1 can make good HP with just a cam. I want to have both.. Mike
  17. Owen I have a set of the Honda wheel studs on order, they should come in today. Looks like they are 12mm 1.5 2.5" long. I hope they are long enough. Mike
  18. I am using comp cams 305 Lift 510 510 dur 276 290 @.050 220 229 This cam is close to what you are using in power. I was going to use the cc306 cam but I did not want to hurt my 60' times with no low end. If I ever go 383 then I would use the cc306 but right I love the low end power of the cc305. Mike
  19. The th350 trans fits ok, I think that I had to cut off the ears that stick out. Why not use a 4l60e? I have used the Th350 before and it makes a great drag trans, but no OD. The th350 trans was not fun after 60mph.
  20. Tim if you are looking for a inner boot then buy one from a 79-93 mustang. They have a inner and outer boot.

  22. Tim I have the same boot from Kragen. Works good, I went to the junk yard to find a nice one but no luck. Tim can you tell me how to post a pic large? Everytime I post it is small.
  23. Scottie you where right on with the HP #. The lt1 makes for a very responsive street car. I will go back to the dyno in a few months when I install NOS. Mike
  24. Does anyone know if there are after market wheel studs for the Z-car. I need some longer wheel studs to pass the NHRA rules.
